We had a really lovely time at Pear Tree Lodge. It’s pretty remote, which was exactly what we wanted for a chilled break. The lodge itself was top-notch - honestly one of the nicest we've stayed in. The hot tub under cover was a highlight, staying hot and clean. Everything we needed was there, plus some nice touches. Highly recommend for a peaceful retreat!

We had a really lovely time. The lodge was top-notch-spotlessly clean, warmand beautifully furnished. The open-plan layout felt modern yet cosyand the beds were super comfy. The surprise welcome basket was a real treat! Everything we needed was thereand the location was perfect for exploring Llyn Brianne and Elan Valley. The hot tub was the cherry on top after long walks in the hills. Honestly, it was just what we needed for a peaceful getaway. Definitely recommend!
Charlie
We had a wonderful stay here! The place is super peaceful, perfect for escaping the busy city life, yet still close enough to explore lots of nearby spots-most about half an hour away. The views are stunningand it’s ideal for families, dogs, or couples looking for a cosy getaway. The hosts were so friendly and left us a lovely welcome basket. Only thing to note is the garden’s fence might let smaller dogs slip through, so keep an eye on them. We definitely want to return!
Emma
We really enjoyed our stay at the cottage over Christmas. The place was spotless and had all the essentials for cooking our holiday feast. Even with the weather being a bit dull, we stayed cosy and loved relaxing in the sheltered hot tub - it was ideal for this time of year! Definitely recommend this spot to anyone looking for a peaceful getaway.

We recently stayed at Pear Tree Lodge for four nights and it was just perfect for a chill-out. The lodge itself had everything we needed, plus a hot tub with a lovely view. Nights spent soaking in the hot tub, listening to the river and owls, were truly special. The welcome pack was really thoughtful, especially the doggie treats! My granddaughter and our dog loved meeting the Shetland ponies at the fence. All in all, a lovely escape and definitely somewhere we’d return to!
Emma
Loved the calm atmosphere, peaceful surroundings - we’ll definitely visit again!
Amelia
The Pear Tree is nestled in such a lovely private spot! The cottage was spotless, really well stockedand super cosy-those beds were honestly the best! We loved having the hot tub cover, so we could still enjoy it rain or shine. Thanks for a great stay!
Alex
Beautiful spot with breathtaking views, super easy to get to the Brecon Beacons, really peaceful too!
Emily
We had such a lovely stay at the cottage! It was super cosy and looked just like the photos, with a stunning location that was perfect for relaxing. The jacuzzi was a lovely bonus after a long day. The private garden is fenced, but tiny dogs might squeeze through the gaps, so watch out. Being on a farm with sheep in most fields, you’ll need to drive somewhere if you want to let your dog off-lead - and there’s a military zone nearby. Also, didn’t realise there was a microwave, so that was handy. Definitely planning to come back!
Alex
Really enjoyed our stay, everything was spot on from start to finish.
Emma Carter
We absolutely loved our stay here! The location is stunning, surrounded by peaceful countryside where the only sounds are sheep and birds. The lodge was spotless, super comfyand had everything we needed for a relaxing break. The views were breathtakingand ending the day in the hot tub was just perfect. We also had a great meal at the Seven Stars Inn in Aberedw, which is a charming pub with friendly staff. It’s a great base for exploring the Brecon Beacons - we did gorge walking and high ropes with Black Mountain Adventures. Can’t wait to come back!
Emma T.
Honestly, we had such a lovely bank holiday weekend! It’s been ages since we last went away together. The lodge was spotless and top-notchand the owners were really helpful whenever we had questions. The views were simply stunning, making the whole stay truly memorable. We’d definitely come back!
Oliver
We booked Pear Tree Lodge over the festive period, hoping for a peaceful breakand it really delivered. The place was super comfortable and quiet, with all the essentials sorted, plus a lovely welcome hamper. The Christmas tree was a nice touch! The location is fantastic, offering stunning views from every angle, especially when relaxing in the well-maintained hot tub. We’d definitely recommend it and will be rebooking soon. Loved it!
