The Shepherds Hut is absolutely fantastic. The location is stunning and so peaceful and just on Herefordshire Trail for walkers. The Hut itself is very well equipped and comfortable with a fantastically comfy bed. We will be back! Highly recommended.
Vanessa
We had an amazing holiday, thank you, Julie The view from the shepherd's hut is wonderful, and it's so peaceful, just the birds and an occasional moo. We spent most of our evenings sat under the trees or on the patio, bliss.
Joanne

The location was perfect for a quiet and relaxing weekend break. The scenery around was beautiful in every direction, and it was so peaceful. The shepherds hut was comfortable and clean and we would definitely recommend staying here!

The location for the Shepherd's hut is amazing, set in the Lugg valley in open countryside with amazing views. The accomodation is a very high standard for comfort with lovely comfy bed and bathroom. the hot tub was a real joy to sit in the evening and watch the goldfinches and then the bats. There are some wonderful places to explore nearby but it is also lovely to just enjoy the environment around the hut and take in some lovely local walks
Michelle
This shepherd's hut is amazing! Clean and chic! Perfect for a romantic break away and relaxation! Was not disturbed by anyone and had an amazing few days staying at Snug on Lugg.

We had a lovely week at Snugg. The hut itself is a good size and has been fitted out to a really good standard. The bedroom being a separate room is an added bonus, with storage under the ottoman bed being very handy. It was nice to wake up and enjoy the lovely views from the double doors as well as enjoying drinks on the decked area outside the b edroom at night and watching the sun go down. The bathroom and shower is also bigger than most shepherds huts we've stayed in.
Louise
This was undoubtedly the best and most comfortable Shepherds Hut we have ever stayed in- very high spec. And the setting and scenery was truly outstanding. We landed on the hottest day of the year, so the owners kindly set the hot tub to cool for us. If you love nature, privacy, and peace and quiet, you cant beat Snug on Lugg. We did a day trip to Hay on Wye, but spent most of the time relaxing in this beautiful place.

We really needed a break and found the shepherds hut fitted the bill completely. It was so peaceful watching the wildlife and soaking in the hot tub, a great place to unwind. The bed was very comfortable and the hut had everything we needed, including a great shower. The owners were really welcoming and helped us make the most of our stay with sugg estions of places to go in the local area. Hopefully we will get the chance to come back.
Gillian
The directions from the owner were better than Google maps. The hut was situated in the most amazing setting, next to a pond, by a river and in it's own manicured field. It was beautifully done out with everything you could possibly want or need. On opening the door it was lovely and warm and smelt amazing. The welcome scones, jam and cream waiting in the fridge were a lovely touch. Lovely soft towels and the bed was extremely comfortable. The hot tub was just what you needed after a busy day.
Mary
Fantastic place, special location. A real get away from it all .
Ronald
If you want an isolated peaceful place where you can relax in the hot tub in the quiet of the evening then this is it. Mind, the ducks on the pond get a bit noisy, if you're lucky you might see the grey heron or even get a visit from the deer. There are no cows nearby, we don't like cows (bad experiences in the past). Plus the facilities are quite hi-spec. Ron Gillibrand

Fabulous! The accommodation was just lovely. Warm, cosy, attractively decorated with high quality furnishings. The location in a field is breathtaking providing peace, solitude, fresh air, abundant bird life and beautiful sunsets. This is an Ideal place to stay to get away from it all. The owners have thought of everything and even left a cream tea for us. Such a lovely gesture. We will definitely be returning. Thank you for such a lovely holiday.
Louise
It was a lovely cosy accommodation with a peaceful beautiful setting. Very well equipped with lovely touches from the owner.

Truly a great experience. The cottage is perfect for couples and the view...absolutely no words to describe the shear beauty. Pictures will not do the beautiful landscape justice; a must "see to believe" area. The cottage itself is very cosy and very well equipped. Deck pointed perfectly towards the sunset and a hot tub pointed towards the moon; do esn't get more relaxing than this. Would recommend the place to couples but be careful; once you arrive, you might not want to leave. Truly Amazing!!
Mikey
