We had the most incredibly relaxed stay Unfortunately we didn't have great weather but the scenery and hot tub more than made up for that. It was great to be provided with bath robes too. Beautiful cottage in the middle of nowhere (although there is an excellent pub within walking distance that does superb food!). Peaceful, quiet, well-equipped - clearly a lot of thought has gone into this cottage, and apart from the rubbish weather we had a lovely time. Hot tub was perfect, even in the rain, and Caroline the property manager was ex cellent. Garden is good but not fully dog-proof, so you need to keep an eye on them. Enclosed dog field is useful, but again not dog-proof.
Ruth
Fabulous gem on top of a hill, with open views over to Beguildy and the valley. Fridge in property and the use of a very large fridge freezer in the pump house. Dressing gowns were a plus along with towels, and a great log burner. Wood available along with charcoal for the bbq. Outdoor seating area, in addition , sun loungers and a large hot tub. B ed was soft and so comfortable. Gate at the bottom of the stairs to stop the dogs was fabulous. Lots of cooking pans and dishes, with corkscrew.
