The cottage was lovely-really tastefully decorated and surprisingly spacious, yet still cosy enough to feel like a home from home. Everything was spotless and well-organised, with all the essentials in perfect working order. Itâ€™s tucked away at the top of a tricky maze of roads (took us ages to find the best way!), but the hot tub was totally worth it-private and well-maintained. Despite the rainy February weather, we had a wonderful, relaxing week in the Welsh hills. Would definitely come back!

The site also boasts a children's play area and an underground experience zone.

Cantref Adventure Farm offers hours of indoor and outdoor fun for the whole family. Inside there is a huge soft play area with a separate area for toddlers as well as ball pools, climbing frames, slides and chutes. The Cannon balls are a big hit with children of all ages. New for 2010 is the Badgers quest interactive maze. Outside there is a play area, large boating lake with paddle boats, nature trails with clues and quizzes and an agility course. At Old king Street Farm you can spend the day with the charming creatures and enjoy feeding them, grooming them and having a stroll through the woodland. Lamas are not ridden but they can carry all the picnic essentials including tables and chairs! Lama Treks around the stunning Black Mountains are also available.
