Beautiful lodge
The lodge is absolutely gorgeous its really spacious with comfortable furniture inside and out. The setting is stunning and so so peaceful. The hot tub and decking furniture is lovely and relaxing. The only letdown for the property are the fixtures and fittings. The kitchen has very limited items no baking trays, limited utensils, no pint glasses or prosecco glasses literally one platebowl per person for a weekend we managed but it would be difficult to cook here properly for a week. Also adding some hooks to the bathrooms for towels and some coat hangers would make it easier to unpack. Some additional extras such as hand soap in the bathrooms would also increase this to 5 star.
Lovely accommodation in a quiet and picturesque location. Plenty of walks straight from the door. Facilities good but lacking anywhere to hang towels and wet swimwear. Not many surfaces to put things when not in use like bed cushions and extra pillows. Mattresses a bit too soft or tired and would be better more firm. Limited kitchen utensils for example baking trays, scissors more bowls for serving from. Only little details and it didnt stop us from really enjoying our break. Would definitely go there again. Thank you

Lovely lodge , exactly as the pictures show it very clean and comfortable and in a great location on the park hot tub was maintained daily and fantastic lovely views over the lake close to the waterpark only things missing were a hairdryer and plastic glasses for outside would defo return and recommend

The property is very pleasant on a peaceful well run complex, we really enjoyed our time there. What lets it down is the lack of inventory, there were only 3 coat hangers, very few mismatched glasses, no baking trays, no kitchen scissors, no serving ware, the list is long & I shant go into it, but with a tiny bit of watery soap in the bottom of a bottle & two part used toilet rolls for four days, it was a disappointing start & I feel a property asking the rate it does per night, should be a lot better. The outside furniture is great but the cushions are stored in the top & bottom of one of the smaller bedrooms wardrobe, leaving no room for other things. The bottom of the wardrobe in the other smaller bedroom had a large heavy cardboard box in it along with wallpaper offcuts & old plastic packing, again leaving no space. One of the drawers in the kitchen was full of what appeared to be old packing materials for some of the kitchen cabinetsappliances & directly beneath the boiler was an opened tin of paint this should be removed immediately because of the fire risk. I can only assume the property has only recently come to the market & simply isnt properly ready, the marketing pictures bear no resemblance to the property itself, which has none of the touches that make it feel special, with these sorted it will be a great place to stay.

We all loved our stay here the lodge was lovely and clean and the hot tub great. The kids loved that. The only downside we found was there wasnt enough glasses and there was no coat hangers to hang clothes also nowhere to hang towels in the bathroom to dry. It did say there was a heated towel rail but we never saw that anywhere. I would definitely recommend staying here and would love to come back.
Great lodge on a lovely peaceful site. Would definitely stay again.
We had a brilliant stay in the lodge. It was sparkling clean and the kids loved the hot tub. It was great being able to have the dog with us and access the lake for paddle boarding. We were very lucky with the weather and hope to return.
What a tranquil, beautiful place Delamere Lake is. The site is kept immaculate and the staff extremely helpful. The lodge itself was excellent, I dont know what products the cleaners used but it smelt amazing as we walked in. It was immaculate, with beautiful furnishings, comfy beds and lovely hot showers. It was toasty and warm and all I could recommend would be a few more kitchen utensils, seive, colander, measuring jug, potato peeler. I would highly recommend this lodge and intend to come back .
