Spindle is just one of the amazing lodges in this location. The surroundings are beautiful, peaceful and well kept. And the lodge itself we've stayed in Oak at the same location too has everything you need and more. Evenings in the hot tub are the icing on the cake. The owner and his team are on hand but not intrusive and if you're lucky, you'll even get a visit from their dog who is simply divine.

Loved our break here! One of the cleanest lodges we've stayed in and loved the view, the welcome pack, and the comfortable furnishings. The fairy lights and landscaping were lovely to look at too! A great base for exploring Calke Abbey too.

Conkers is an award winning attraction located in the midst of the National Forest. Combining both indoor and outdoor activities this is an all weather attraction in the Peak District. It's really easy to get to as well, just 5 miles from Junction 11 off the M42. Designed for all ages some of the highlights include the Enchanted Forest Adventure play area and a simulated Tree Top walk. Look out for special seasonal events such as October half term and the Annual Halloween Party. At the moment you can receive a fantastic discount if you book your tickets online.

Rosliston Forestry Centre is a beautiful woodland site with tranquil areas for Fishing as well as some beautiful meadows and a lake. For children there is a Play Area to run around on and during school holidays organised activities such as range led walks are available. The site is also an excellent place for Walking, Cycling and Horse Riding. Other available events taking place this year include an Archery drop in session, a Christmas Crafting Afternoon and a Mince Pie and Mulled Wine Walk.

This is an all weather attraction located in Ilkeston Derbyshire. With a large play frame as well as bikes and ride on toys this is a fun place for young children. The toddler time sessions take place during term times on week days from 9.30am until 2.30pm and are very popular. The admission fee is excellent value for money and parents can sit down and enjoy a drink while the children play. A new baby changing facility has now been installed together with some new chairs making this a clean and welcoming attraction for families. This is a really unique opportunity to see the fantastic work going on at this centre. The purpose of the British Wildlife Rescue Centre is to treat and care for injured wildlife which cannot be released into the wild.
