Rosliston Forestry Centre is a beautiful woodland site with tranquil areas for Fishing as well as some beautiful meadows and a lake. For children there is a Play Area to run around on and during school holidays organised activities such as range led walks are available. The site is also an excellent place for Walking, Cycling and Horse Riding. It's really easy to get to as well, just 5 miles from Junction 11 off the M42. The purpose of the British Wildlife Rescue Centre is to treat and care for injured wildlife which cannot be released into the wild. This is an all weather attraction located in Ilkeston Derbyshire. With a large play frame as well as bikes and ride on toys this is a fun place for young children. The toddler time sessions take place during term times on week days from 9.30am until 2.30pm and are very popular. A new baby changing facility has now been installed together with some new chairs making this a clean and welcoming attraction for families.
