About Five Acres

Five Acres is a large, fun-filled holiday home on the outskirts of Chesterfield, Derbyshire. This seven-bedroom property sleeps 20 and comes equipped with hot tub, sauna, and games room.

With off-road parking for six cars, Five Acres is idyllic for large families, sets of friends, and one dutiful dog. Slide across hardwood floors and into the kitchen, where you’ll entertain the chef from the breakfast bar as they whip up a delicious dinner.

Enjoy it at a dining table for ten – indoors or out! The dishwasher’s on clean-up duty, so you’re free to indulge in some friendly competition in the games room.

On chilly evenings and cosy up to the woodburning stove in the sitting room, or hop into the hot tub or sauna in the garden – all ready to hug you with warmth. Warm up the old-fashioned way in the garage gym, then rinse off in three en-suites or a bathroom, as the washing machine and tumble dryer take care of your laundry.

When sleep calls, fall into a choice of seven bedrooms, with super-king-size, king-size, double, bunk, and sofa beds, each waiting to catch you. Venture into Chesterfield to take a scenic stroll along Chesterfield Canal and up to Dixon’s Lock.

Count the stars at Chesterfield Barnett Observatory, or challenge your loved ones to a game of golf at Tapton Park Golf Course – right next door to your property! A little further afield sits Chatsworth, where the history buff can marvel at Chatsworth House, the Conservative Wall, and the Emperor Fountain and Canal Pond.

Why not take the kids through Chatsworth House Maze and then spend their energy at Chatsworth Farmyard & Adventure Playground! Just a short drive away lies Sheffield, where a family day out waits to be enjoyed at Gulliver’s Valley Theme Park, and the Wyming Brook Nature Reserve and Weston Park Museum call to be explored.
