The Groom's House Reviews

Lovely little cottage in the heart of Buxton, surrounded by beautiful walks and fabulous pubs. The Grooms Cottage was the ideal location for our family break, with the added bonus of the hot tub to soak in after a days exploring, we loved it!
Had a wonderful break with friends. The accommodation was perfect. Having the hot tub was great too. We were able to walk from the cottage into the beautiful village. Would highly recommend and would definitely return again.
Excellently equipped. Great location. Thoroughly enjoyed our week there. Not ideal for 4 adults as second bedroom a bit small

Thank you for a lovely stay. The weather wasnt with us but that did not detract from the warmth and comfort of the cottage. Right in the middle of things with the pavilion gardens close by for my puppies early morning walk before heading out for a longer walk in the beautiful surroundings. Thank you
Will definitely be coming back! The cottage was perfect!
The property was clean and well decorated. ..the hot tub was lively and the kitchen had everything we needed. It was quite small...lucky we didn't bring our grown up sons, they would not have fitted the beds. I could have done with being able to dry my swimmimg costume on the heated towel rail. It was a bit rough outside the property...I wouldn't have wanted to be there on my own at night..the lighting was poor...I wouldn't want my mum as a solo traveller booking it for example.
Lovely place, modern and clean, good kitchen, lovely hot tub, great location, easy parking! Only slight negative was twin bedroom being quite small with small beds.

We had a great time, the property is beautiful and cosy with everything we needed. It was lovely to have a bottle of Prosecco waiting for us on arrival as well! Our stay was made even better by the amazing communication, any questions we had were answered so quickly which was brilliant. What a beautiful cottage in a great part of the Peak District! Thank you
The property had excellent amenities throughout, loved the bottle of fizz that you left for my sister and I. The property was clean, nicely decorated and well located for Buxton Town Centre. It was quiet and the hot tub is nicely located so it feels very private and away from any prying eyes. Would recommend this to all my friends and very reasonable for the long weekend.
Jennifer
Couldnt fault the property! Great area to stay in and felt like home away from home. Would definitely stay here again. Thank you.
Tristan
Not enough water in the hot tube after 24 hours. No solution was provided by the staff. Also no soap or shampoo provided at the property for the shower. Apart from that. Experience was good.
Rebecca
The cottage was perfect for what we were looking for, it had everything you could possibly need. The hot water bottles were a much appreciated touch during the freezing November weekend!
Stewart
Comfortable and well appointed, ideal central location for Buxton and the surrounding area, minor niggle, my wife couldn't plug in hairdryer to use the mirror in the bedroom and from me it stated there was sky TV, found the sky remote but no sign of sky box lol. Would definately recommend for couples and small families
Gareth
Excellent location Nicely furnished and made the most of the space available
