This cottage is absolutely wonderful. The views from the windows and outside are stunning, and make you feel so peaceful. The hot tub is an absolute bonus where you can enjoy the views from even more. The beds are extremely comfortable and large. The living space is cosy and well decorated with massive windows to see the paddock and views. It was a lovely Christmas. We've had a lovely stay. The hot tub was fun. The cottage was very cosy and our hosts were very helpful.

Lovely and cosy cottage, ideally located to explore Mid Wales. Devil's Bridge waterfall is a must but be careful as it can be very challenging when wet. Seen the red kites being fed at Egrin Farm. Explored Elan Valley's dams and reservoirs. Also easy reach to the Ceredigion coast from Aberporth to Ynys Las - over two days. Lovely cottage, quiet and relaxing. Beautiful scenery and plenty of red kites and buzzards to keep you entertained. Cottage was comfortable and relaxing. Weather wasn't on our side but we got out everyday and glad we got to use the hot tub. Hosts were very discreet but on hand if you need them. We will definitely book again.

Thank you for a wonderful relaxing stay! We have absolutely loved our stay and the hot tub has been AMAZING. The cottage is so comfortable and we slept so well in the big comfy beds. We will miss the sheep and Doris (the horse - our name for her). It really is a magical place and we have loved every minute!

Thank you for a great place to stay. My 3 yr old got a little upset on our final night as he did not want to leave. Great location which is not too far from the coast. If you even just spend a day here, there's some great wildlife to see - Red Kites, Buzzards, Heron and even a Kingfisher seen going up and down the river. We were lucky enough to havRead moree a pair of F-35 jets (I think!) fly over on Wednesday afternoon. Hide

We really needed a break away this year, this was one of the best times away that we've had; relaxing and exciting. Such a beautiful property, fantastic hosts and gorgeous scenery. Loved the hot tub after a day out exploring. An absolutely amazing week, even kept our daughters aged 20 and 17 amused! What a beautiful location in the heart of rural Wales. If it is peace and quiet you are looking for then this is exactly the place for you. We had such a wonderful relaxing time during our week at Drws Nesa. The hot tub was amazing, the beds super comfortable and the house a really good size. Thank you.

Our family had an amazing stay at Drws Nesa, the location is pretty and so peaceful overlooking mountains, the river and farm animals. It was so good watching the red kites whilst relaxing in the hot tub which was a nice way to finish the day off. A perfect relaxing week in beautiful surroundings. Lambs are very entertaining, as was watching the horse nearby. Amazing watching the kites flying so close in their natural habitat. Food at Y Talbort was outstanding and well worth visiting, but we spent most of our time using the pizza oven and BBQ, watching the wildlife. Thoroughly enjoyed using Read morethe hot tub. Aberaeron was very pretty and New Quay was beautiful - recommend a boat trip to see the dolphins, which was stunning and a walk along the beach at low tide. Vale of Rheidiol Railway to Devil's Bridge is highly recommended, as is the Red Kite feeding station at Rhayader. Plenty of nice walks locally and easily accessible. The owners are very discreet but always on hand to help. Hide

We were delighted to leave a recommendation in the guest book, having enjoyed a brilliant 10 night stay at Drws Nesa in July 2023. Despite the British/Welsh weather, the property was great. Lots to do in the wider area.

Great stay, lovely & peaceful just as we wanted! Hot tub got plenty of use (so much that we're ordering one!), despite the weather. The cottage was ideally placed, within a short walking distance of local amenities.
