Wrekin Lodge Reviews

Property is in a great location, wonderful views, excellent Hot Tub. Good walking routes from the property, particularly into Much Wenlock and on from there to Wenlock Edge. We stayed 7 nights and had some days of inclement weather, but visited Ironbridge, Bridgnorth and Ludlow on such days. Would recommend this property.
Claire
The property was AMAZING. I myself didn't mind but we did find that the WIFI didn't work for us. it wouldn't connect to any of the streaming channels. i think this is something people would maybe want to know. Also i recommend having a broom on hand, as we were there for a week and i didn't like to leave it a mess. Last thing is maybe provide some cosy blankets for snuggling up on the night time, it was the only thing missing. Thank you for a fabulous stay
Michelle

Absolutely amazing, so peaceful and tranquil it made us feel like we were the only peoples for miles, well done owners pat yourselves on the back youve done yourselves proud by building a quiet little holiday home that feels like paradise.
This place is amazing. Loved the peace, the scenery ,the hot tub and of course the quirky little lodge. Plenty of places to visit nearby. Try to do the wooden lodges with a hot tub break at least once a year and this one has been by far the best experience yet. Loved it.
Absolutely stunning lodge with beautiful scenery, very secluded and a perfect romantic break. Everything that you needed was there, owners even left us welcome gifts which was a lovely touch. Highly recommend.

Absolutely amazing so warm and cosy and would definitely recommend
Property is exactly as shown in the pictures. Really lovely getaway close to many different places and things to see such as all the Ironbridge museums. The hot tub was excellent and the hosts lovely. When we had a query or issue it was resolved quickly would highly recommend. The main issue we had was with the WiFi and we whatsapped the host who tried to rectify straight away but unfortunately despite best efforts it couldnt be fixed for our stay. It wasnt an issue for us in anyway as we still had 4G from our mobile providers if we needed it. All in all a great property, great location, felt very secluded and the hot tub was a great way to end the day lovely views as well. Would definitely love to return one day.

We spent our honeymoon here and its was just perfect in every single way! So private and the hot tub was gorgeous! Views are stunning. We didnt want to leave! The host was easily contactable. Will highly recommend! Thank you for a memorable one! We will be returning!
Ive never once been to a property where it looked EXACTLY like the pictures. It was amazing. It was lovely and quirky and built in a fabulous spot. Me and my partner are from Shropshire, so didnt want to go out and sightsee but we were never bored whilst not leaving the lodge. The views are great, felt like we were a million miles from home, not just 9! We booked for my 30th birthday after both of our holidays were cancelled, and in a way Im glad because I had such a relaxing time. Great to reset! Loved that the hot tub had temperature changes too as we came during the start of a heatwave! Also it had speakers! This was a big win for us! We LOVED Wrekin Lodge!
Amazing stay in the lodge, the welcome basket was a lovely touch. Amazing views so peaceful and the hot tub was lovely. Thank you so much
Eleanor
Me and my partner absolutely loved the lodge. It was warm, cozy and had everything we wanted. Definitely would come again.
What an absolute gem in a beautiful setting! ! Nestled in a quiet rural country lane, this is perfect for a peaceful getaway to unwind. May all our breaks be a perfect as this.

Wrekin Lodge is a beautiful place to stay and packs so much charm and character into a small space. The hot tub was lovely and warm and clean and a fantastic place to unwind in the evening and watch the wildlife and enjoy the view.
Excellent lodge, peaceful and ideal for a relaxed break.
Daniel
Wow what a beautiful place! The little lodge had everything you needed, it was clean, comfy and peaceful! We loved the decor, you can tell it was very well thought of whilst designing. The hosts made sure you had everything youd need.. teas, coffee, sugars and sachets of milk. All towels including tea towels were provided as well as washing up liquid, hand soap and detol spray. The sofas were the comfiest! With a smart tv in front of you, perfect if you have a Netflix subscription. The bed on the mezzanine was comfy even down to the pillows & duvet! The views from the little lodge were lovely so relaxing to sit outside on the outdoor furniture and watch the wildlife go by. There is a small caravan park with about no more then 10 caravans on however the lodge is still very private and sectioned off from them no noise and still so peaceful The hot tub was an amazing addition in a very private space at night time all beautifully lit up and on a clear night the night skys were beautiful! Much wenlock town was a quick drive & a lovely place to visit a few pubs for lunchdrinks and an amazing bakery called Pig & Pie! Wenlock priory small but worth a visit! Theres a pub not far however to walk youd have to walk along a main country lane not safe but after a day out in much wenlock it was lovely to take a bottle back & relax. Weve had so many comments from friends & family about the little lodge as its so different & looks so peaceful they all want to book & stay! We will definitely be back as its just what we need for a weekend away without our girls! Thank you to the hosts for the lovely welcome hamper, amazing stay and your homemade honey we purchased was lovely! purchase at the main farm house just up the lane
