La Hacendia Lodge Reviews

Patricia
Perfect accommodation, very comfortable bed, absolutely everything provided. Only negative trying to find the lodge in the first place. The 'park' is on unconnected 2 sites at the moment and we weren't told which one our accommodation was on. We picked the wrong one but even the person in reception didn't know where it was. We eventually found it on the second site. If we had been advised to go through the gates with the stag sculptures either side, we would have found it straight away.
Lovely place to stay, more accurate directions would be very useful, when using the postcode the sat nav directs to a nearby house and the directions to go through the main gates is also consistent with this, if directions were to say turn through the main gates beside the deer statues that would be more useful. Also more information about what is available on site, what time the bar is open and what's on would help guests plan their evenings.
General cleanliness was good except for ovengrill and badly stained and dog hair covered sofa and chair. There was also a bad smell of drains from the bathroom and around the site. We found the lack of anywhere to walk very restricting and with the difficulties of crossing the A1 we would not want to return to the site.
Great accommodation located perfectly on the edge of the park. Inside the property has everything you would need & is very cosy & homely & the hot tub is a great asset overlooking the fields behind. We & our 2 dogs thoroughly enjoyed our stay & would love to return. My only suggestion would be having a vacuum cleaner given that it is dog friendly

We had a power cuts first night, went to go in to the hot tub Monday pm to find it freezing, went and spoke to receptionist on Tuesday morning to find out that the hot tubs had been turned off over the weekend. The whole point of booking the cabin was for the hot tub and it was one of the main things we couldn't use.
