3 people aged 6082and our 5 yr old dog. This was our second stay at this lodge, its clean and comforfortable with good facilities but needs a little tlc. Theres a washing machine but no clothes airer or iron, these addition would make facilities great, The view over the golf course is lovely especially wen the weather is good. The hottub is fab and we made the most of it. We will return again.
Fabulous very well presented lodge situated in a lovely aspect overlooking the golf course . Fantastic and well laid out interior providing every appliance necessary . Two bathrooms also proved invaluable . Ample storage space for all four of us too and plenty of room inside and out for our dog . Very centrally placed for visits to Alnwick and Bamburgh Castle , Seahouses , Lindisfarne and Morpeth . Would definitely recommend

We had a fantastic long weekend break. Would definitely recommend it.

This is our annual holiday stay we look forward to it every year! its in a great location peaceful and quiet. Always spotless when we come, with a bottle of wine on arrival makes you feel very welcomed. See you in 2025
Had a great 2 weeks holiday. Lodge is in a great position overlooking the fairway. Owners were great, rectified a small issue very quick and even brought us cakes to say sorry for the inconvenience. Nice hot tub to chill in the evenings.
Claire
Lovely lodge. Clean and welcoming on arrival. Wine, soap, tea towels, oven gloves, cleaning bits, bin liners all provided which are often missing. Collection of board games and books are a great idea. Really quiet location. View from the hot tub is fantastic. We had no issues over comfort of the sofa. The WiFi was patchy. Struggled for streaming TV and we had some rain so couldn't always be out. Ended up using phone for hotspot. I would have preferred bath sheet size towels for a bit more of a luxurious touch and maybe an Alexa or equivalent but all in a value for money weeks holiday. Thank you
Lovely cabin with lots of space and well stocked kitchen around platescutleryutensils. Easy to find and as it looked on the website, lovely touches around games and a bottle of wine water bowls for the dogs. Amazing pitch and great for switching off and relaxing and a great view of the golf course. In order to improve my ratings then i would look at the following Main sofa very awkward to sit on with it being a sofa bed, need to often get up and readjust to get any sort of comfort a more comfortable sofa would make a huge difference. Lots of TVs in the property but due to poor wifi and digital signal whilst we were there they were never really in use, thank the lord I had my firesticklaptop and unlimited data on my phone for nighttime viewing and entertainment.
The property was absolutely gorgeous and deceivingly big. Great facilities couple of little points, ensuite shower doors were a bit stiff and so was the patio door but was only very minor issues. The festive decorations were such a lovely touch. The welcome booklet was really helpful with ideas on things to door, places to eat drink. Perfect for pets too. Would not hesitate to stay again
Our fourth time visiting this property now, cant recommend it enough. Beautiful spacious lodge all the amenities that you could possibly need. Stunning views overlooking the golf course with plenty of wildlife to watch. The owners always go above and beyond to make our stay memorable. Well be back again soon!
Heather
Had the most amazing stay at Woodland View the lodge is beautiful and has everything you need for your stay. The hot tub was really lovely and very private as you have no lodges in front of you just a fabulous view of the golf course. Will definitely be back thank you
Nicole
Great lodge to stay in has everything you will need. Comfortable beds and location of the lodge is perfect over looking the golf course we seen lots of wildlife including deers. We will definitely stay again in the future.
Overall an excellent stay. Clean and a good location to explore from. Only slight downside was the furniture could of been a bit more comfortable
Excellent lodge in a beautiful setting. Loved every minute and didnt want to come home.

This is our second year coming here we love the lodge and location. Very peaceful and dog friendly we like it that much we have put a deposit down for 2024!
The lodge was clean , spacious and comfortable for 2 couples. The kitchen was well equipped and a good size. The bedrooms were a good size for a lodge with a great walk in wardrobe in the master. The site is very picturesque and an ideal place for golfers. No of our party are into golf but we enjoyed the views and peaceful outlook. There is a lot of things to do within 10 to 15 minute drive. Alnwick and Alnmouth, Northumberland Zoo , Aln Steam railway and a lovely park a few minutes walk away with a lovely cafe. We had a lovely week and definitely made use of the hot tub. Deer spotting from the decking early in the morning was another highlight. Definitely recommend x
We have just spent a lovely BH weekend at Woodland view albeit the weather been cold and miserable. It was very clean and comfortable, and the hot tub was amazing. The owners provided a few added extras which were a lovely touch.. treats and bowls for our pooch and a bottle of fizz in the fridge for us. We found the kitchen was well equipped for eating in if you wanted to. We ate out most days and found some nice places to eat that werent too far away. Sunday lunch at The Northumberland Arms in Felton 10 mins away was amazing. The bathrooms were spotless and equipped with hand wash and towels.. could have done with a bath mat to stand on but that was my only niggle. Overall, a lovely stay in a nice area of Northumberland.
Andrea
Stunning location, tastefully decorated lodge, very welcoming and comfortable. Sadly we had to cut short our holiday and return home so didn't get to use the hot tub. Will defintately book again and return later in the year.
Lovely lodge , very well equipped, spotlessly clean lots of lovely touches and ... Lovely lodge , very well equipped, spotlessly clean lots of lovely touches and very comfortable with super views , we watched the deer from the hot tub ,the park is well maintained and very quiet ,could maybe have done with information on the walks around the site and the golf clubhouse opening hours , food, etc , we had a super stay and wouldnt hesitate to recommend
I have already recommended our stay to a friend. Set in a perfect location, very clean, well presented lodge.
One of the most beautiful lodges weve stayed in. So lovely and spacious, plenty of room for the whole family and every amenities you could possibly need for your stay. We definitely made use out of the kitchen! The views are lovely, we especially loved sitting out on the deck having breakfast watching the deer! The kids toys are a great touch and came in so useful especially for a winter getaway. We enjoyed playing the board games on a night time as a family and really appreciated the hot chocolate and marshmallows that were provided by the owners as an extra Christmas treat! As a whole the owners went above and beyond to make sure our stay was perfect sending information on Christmas activities for the kids, a complimentary bottle of fizz for the grown ups and so much more. We will certainly be back again soon. Thank you

Stunning Property, beautifully decorated with lovely views overlooking the golf course.
Weve had a lovely week at this lodge which was comfortable and clean , fabulous hot tub overlooking the golf course , set on a good quiet location. We would recommend this as a great place to stay .
Woodland view met my pre requisites two bedrooms with second being a double, walkin shower, pet friendly, hot tub and of course in the area we wanted to be in. The instructions for accessing the property where clear and the response to the text message was very prompt. On entering woodland view a welcome pack was on hand which included a bottle of fizz, doggy treats and bowls to use a great treat for humans and dog! The property has a lovely view across the golf course and we saw deer running across it early in the morning, and heard owls hooting at night. There were two bathrooms and a spacious living area and kitchen which was well stocked with cutlery and utensils. It was very clean the beds were very comfortable. The hot tub was discreetly maintained daily and was a treat to being especially in the evening as the sun set and the stars came out. The dog walking area was close by and easy to access. It was an ideal location to explore the local area with it only being minutes away from the A1. The site was also very quiet and peaceful and I would highly recommend this accommodation and stay there again if in the area.
Michelle
From the minute we walked into our property we felt very at home. There was everything we needed and more for our stay. It was very clean and comfortable and the hot tub was a great way to relax after a day at the castles and surrounding areas and the star gazing was lovely in the evening. We had a fabulous view and the park itself was very well kept. The beds were very comfortable, clean towels, bedding, everything has been thought of..and what a lovely touch when we arrived a bottle of fizz to welcome us. We will definitely be staying again in the future. And would like to thank the owners for making our holiday even better.
Fantastic few days lodge is beautiful and the view from the hot tub was amazing ... Fantastic few days lodge is beautiful and the view from the hot tub was amazing thank you for the chilled wine and the ice ready when we arrived loved it will definitely be back
Jennifer
This is a really lovely lodge and in many ways the owner has gone above and beyond, wine and chocolates on arrival, games for the family, helpful information provided. Unfortunately there were a few things that for me made the lodge lose the luxury element, the standard of cleaning was poor dog hairs and dirty cutlery. Also some parts of the property are now looking worn peeling kitchen cupboards, baking trays need replacing and the bathrooms are also beginning to look tired. However, we enjoyed our stay overall.
A definite Yes! Beautiful site,a super comfortable lodge. Spotless throughout, comfy beds with lovely linen. Not too busy at the time we were there but lots of super well kept lodges. Very dog friendly,he loved his stay too!
Virginia
We loved the caravan and the holiday. Sykes as a company were very good and easy to deal with. We did have a personal problem that came up, but I messaged them and they sorted it out for us with the owner. I must stress here it was nothing at all to do with Sykes or the owner, it was a family problem. The owner was very easy and obliging to deal with. I would have absolutely no problem recommending this caravan at all, and we will be staying in it again. Thankyou
Natasha
Beautiful lodge lovely and clean stunning views loved seeing all the wildlife on the golf course. would definitely recommend
We were not disappointed at all with our stay at woodland view. Its location is perfect for visiting the north east coast. The lodge was set in a super position, as it said it was. It's very well equipped and the lounge is very comfortable. The hot tub gave us great pleasure. On the whole it was very comfortable. The main bed in the ensuite room could be better. it's very low and the mattress isn't the most comfy. The shower is excellent! and there is plenty of space, There are a few things showing wear like cracks on windowsills, a broken blind and the cutlery was a bit basic as was the cookware which showed it was well used. The lack of bath towels was annoying. The wine cooler is extraordinarily noisy and gets very hot when in use. Hence we turned it off. The freezer needs to be defrosted. On the whole though it is a place we'd come back to and recommend.
Alison
Lovely lodge and location really comfortable and clean, lovely views from the ... Lovely lodge and location really comfortable and clean, lovely views from the lodge made even more special when we saw deer, the lodge was exactly what we needed for a break away with friends
