We had a lovely stay at this house, perfect for our multi-generational family trip. The hot tub and bath were fantastic after long days. Local dog walks were a hit! Only thing was, two beds felt a bit short for us tall folks. Also, we couldn’t find the dog room - maybe it’s been changed? Still, we’d come back!

We had a lovely stay at Earnvale House for three nights. The place was finished to a really high standardand the beds were super comfy. We enjoyed relaxing in the hot tub and then chilling by the cosy fire. The local pub was just a short walk awayand we appreciated the welcome touches like fizz, biscuitsand a little gift for our dog. The high chair was perfect for our grandson. We’ll definitely come back!
Emma
This place was really lovely, plenty of space for everyoneand the bathroom was absolutely stunning! We’d definitely recommend it to friendsand we’re thinking of returning soon.
James
Overall, we found the house to be nicely furnished, matching the photos onlineand the beds were quite comfy. It was also pretty clean when we arrived, which was great. However, the outside view wasn’t what we expected-there were some rough vehicles parked nearby and the scenery looked a bit of a mess, which was a letdown. Small details like chipped china and limited utensils in the kitchen also took away from the experience. Plus, the gates being tied with rope seemed a bit dodgy. Still, the interior was pretty nice, so it’s a mixed bag!

We honestly think this is one of the nicest places we've stayed! Everything inside felt high quality and there was plenty of space for all of us. The house was super comfy and we'd definitely stay again. Outside, there's lots of room to relax, especially with the hot tub which was a real treat. The garden view is private and peacefuland the front is secure with big gates and some lovely trees. The master bedroom with the super king bed and en-suite was cozy and had a great TV too. Highly recommend!
Jamie
We really enjoyed our stay here! The cottage is stunning and far surpassed what we expected in terms of quality and amenities. The outdoor barbecue did look a bit dirty, but honestly, who uses a grill without giving it a clean first? Plenty of parking inside the gated area for two cars, maybe three if needed, with loads more on the street. Perfect spot for our family gatheringand our dog loved the space to explore both inside and outside in the secure yard. Would definitely recommend this place!
Emma
Really enjoyed the whole experience
Sam
We had a lovely stay at this place! The house is packed with tech and feels spacious, perfect for a group. We comfortably fit 8 adultsand the privacy was great. The outdoor area with the hot tub was a real highlight. Just a heads up, the car charger is set to off-peak, so you’ll need to leave it plugged in overnight. The main TV only has apps, no regular channels. The restaurant across the road served lovely foodand the owners were really friendly. Perfect for a chilled break, even if there isn’t much else nearby.
Emma
The house is lovely, set in stunning scenery. It’s well-equipped and made our stay super relaxing and stress-free, definitely recommend!
James
We really enjoyed our stay at this lovely, modern home. It was spotless and had all the essentials we needed. The big bath and hot tub were definitely highlights! The TV was a bit fiddlyand extra TVs in the bedrooms would’ve been handy for the kids. If there was another bathroom, it’d be even better. Overall, we’d happily recommend it!
Emma Clarke
We really enjoyed our stay here! The peaceful setting and stunning views from the back were just perfect. It felt super safe, especially with the electric gates, which was great for our dog to roam freely without worries. The place was spotlessand even though a few kitchen gadgets were missing, it didn’t bother us much. The owner was easy to reach if we needed anything.
Emma Clarke
We had a lovely stay here! The house is spacious, super cleanand offers fantastic views. It’s perfect for relaxing in the private garden - dogs loved it! Parking for three cars was handyand the location is great, just a short walk to a shop and pub, with more options nearby. Perfect for exploring too, with Gleneagles and Perth within easy reach. We’d definitely recommend it for families or anyone looking for a comfortable base to enjoy the area. We’ll be back for sure!

Smoo Cave - IV27 4QB
about 29 Miles
Smoo Cave is a popular attraction which can be enjoyed all year round but visitors should wrap up warm during the winter months.  This spectacular limestone sea-cave in Sutherland is the largest in Britain and is simply spectacular. The cave was formed by a burn that runs down into the rear chamber, as well as erosion caused by the sea. Guests can take the path from the car park which runs right through the cave. Boat trips are available in the summer months and are an excellent way to fully appreciate the cave from all angles.
