Absolutely loved staying at the cow barn it had everything we needed. There was a really nice welcome package on arrival of tea,coffee,milk,bread,croissants,cake and butter. It was also nicely lit with the under floor heating already up and running. The separate bar room and hot tub was a great addition to which Neil and Susan always made sure the Read morewater was hot and the wood burner always lit with the football ready to watch on the big screen. We didnt use the pool. A superb location. Hide

Hosts were super helpful and friendly. The bar area was great fun with a dart board and games and a hot tub in the new forest enough said - spectacular. Cottage had a heated floor and was super cosy with unexpected added extras to make our stay even more luxurious.. the carrot cake and olive bread was super yummy!!! We had a fabulous stay. This is a really fun and memorable attraction which is suitable for day trips or short breaks.  You can buy your tickets online which will help you beat the queues especially in school holidays as well as save money.  With a whole host of attractions and thrilling rides there might not be enough time in the day!  Exciting rides include the Edge and The Cobra.  More family friendly rides for younger children include the Magic Carpet Ride and the Flying Frog.  We are sure the whole family will have fun at Paultons so check out their website for the latest opening times and admission costs.

The mighty Edge ride and the terrifying Cobra rollercoaster are the ones to go for if white knuckle rides are your thing. Go Ape in Hampshire offers a unique opportunity for energetic adults and children over 10 to let off steam. The fun packed tree top adventure involves swinging through trees, climbing cargo nets, descending down zip wires and trekking through the canopies. Described as the Isle of Wight's multi activity and play Farm park this attraction will really appeal to families looking for a fun day out.  Recently improvements have been made to enlarge the straw fun play barn and this is now the biggest indoor play space on the island.  This farm is now split into separate attractions, the play barns and petting farm which include rides on tractors and trailors and the tractor driving experience. Open all year this place is also excellent value for money.
Monkey World - BH20 6HH

Monkey World is not only a local attraction but the work they carry out is amazing.  Rescuing and rehabilitating monkeys and assisting governments around the world to stop the smuggling of primates are just some of the purposes of the centre. You get to see the primates themselves many of which have become famous from appearing on the TV show Monkey World - a documentary about this place. Open year round we think this is one of best attractions in Dorset and you even get the chance to adopt a monkey if you choose.
Robin Hill Country Adventure Park - PO30 2NU

This is an award winning attraction on the isle of wight with so much to see and do.  From thrilling rides for the whole family to challenging play for younger kids they have thought of everything.  One of the highlights is the Falconry where you can see some of the most breathtaking displays in the UK.  You can also get a taste of nature and history here from red squirrels to romans.  The great value freedon tickets are well worth the money allowing you to return to the park as often as you like for 7 days.

Longleat Safari and Adventure Park - BA12 7NW

You may have seen this amazing attraction on the BBC1 Animal Park programme.  This is actually the first safari park outside of Africa where you can get close to the animals from the comfort of your own car. Some of the highlights include the zebras, the wallabies in wallaby wood and the sea lion escorted cruise to Gorilla Island.  And of course the magnificent lions and tigers are a must see.  This really is an animal experience with a difference and you can save money by booking your tickets online.  This attraction is open until the end of October.
