Honestly, Anchor House exceeded our expectations. The size isnâ€™t fully clear from the brochure - itâ€™s really spacious, perfect for our group of twelve without feeling cramped. The house is well-equipped, warmand super cosy. Having Sky Sports on the TV was a real bonus! Itâ€™s about a 20-minute walk into Bideford along a flat, paved path, which is handy. Parking was never an issue either. The pool table could use a bit of TLC, but honestly, thatâ€™s a minor gripe. Weâ€™d definitely recommend it!

We had a lovely stay at this house. The hot tub and BBQ hut were real highlights, especially enjoying the BBQ hut during winter. Just a heads up, one twin room and a small double are upstairs and separate from the main bedrooms, both with en-suites. The double is a bit cosy, so the adults in that room felt a tad squeezed compared to others. Still, overall, a fantastic spot for a big group getaway. Would definitely recommend!
