Treburgett is a delightful house in the seaside town of Porthtowan, located in Cornwall. It boasts an open-plan living space, a first-floor balcony, and is near a beach, making it the perfect base for a group trip away to see the pretty sights around Cornwall.

After a couple of steps up to the front door, you are met with the soul of your new holiday home. Find the right spot for you on one of the sofas, then flick on the Smart TV.

The designated chef of the group can show their skills in the kitchen, which has everything needed. Let your favourite show carry on as you come together to devour the food at the dining table.

Enjoy the calming evening sky in the garden or see the night out on the balcony in style. Decide who sleeps where with the option of three beds and rest up, ready for a day of ventures in the morning.

That can be started with the option of a shower or a bubble-filled bath. Shops are nearby, as well as several pubs for a quick drink.

Fall in love with the crystal-clear waves on Porthtowan Beach as you indulge in the sun when it dares to come out. Be sure to take a dip in the stunning Porthtowan Tidal Rockpool.

Moving away from the beach, see what events are on at Mount Pleasant Ecological Park. Visit St Agnes to view the glorious heritage coastline with a gentle stroll.

Take part in some water-sport by going on a kayaking tour to explore some hidden coves. Even take on the waves by testing your balance with some surfing.

Truro is slightly further away from your base but offers plenty to do. Visit the Truro Cathedral, which is beaming with aura, or see what is available to you at the famous Truro Farmers Market.

The Rock Gardens, Caves and Nursery - TQ5 9HG

The Rock Gardens Caves and Nursery have an amazing setting in the old Palace Quarry. The gardens offer an abundance of trees, plants and floral displays including a very grand 80ft Elm Tree and a stunning Weeping Ash. The site also offers a large carp pond, a breathtaking illuminated cave and a tea room serving tasty local produce.
Newquay Zoo - TR7 2NN

The award winning Newquay Zoo makes a fun family day out in North Cornwall.  With over 130 different species of animals to see and plenty of fun activities for the kids this attraction is ideal.  Recent additions to the zoo include the African Savanna and the Madagascan Walkthrough exhibit.  Kids will love the play area, face painting, tarzan trail and animal encounters.  Different events tale place throughout the year such as the Halloween Zoo Boo family fun event on 31st October.
Paradise Park - TR27 4HY

Paradise Park first opened its doors in Cornwall in 1973 and has been one of the regions top attractions ever since. What was once just a tropical bird garden is now a refuge for many different species of animal and aims to be educational as well as fun for its visitors. The inhabitants include some typical UK creatures including Otters, and Red Squirrels as well as some more unusual and rare animals including Red Pandas. Younger children will enjoy meeting the friendly animals in the farm area. The site has recently been extended and now also has a fantastic Jungle Barn where kids can let of steam.

Open from end March to end October this is a lovely attraction suited to families with kids of all ages.  You don't need to worry about the weather either as this is an all weather attraction with the addition of soft play areas and a ball pool for the little ones.  Some of the highlights include the Bull Pen indoor play area, the Raging Bulls Ride, Pat-aPet and the Mini tractors.  Of course there is also the opportunity to get up close to the farm animals and try some bottle feeding.
Flambards Experience Cornwall - TR13 0QA

A fantastic attraction with something for everyone.  Combining rides, activities and exhibitions it's all here in the one place. Look out for seasonal events too such as the Fire in the Sky event on 27th October 2010 - discount advance tickets are available for most of the events so don't forget to check out their website.  Some of the most popular thrill rides include the first Twisting Droptower in the UK called the Skyraker 001.  The Hornert Rollercoaster is also not to be missed.
Springfields Fun Park & Pony Centre - PL15 8EU

Springfields Fun Park & Pony Centre offers a day full of action and adventure for all the family come rain or shine. If the weather is good then children can take advantage of the vast open space to run around and play, enjoy pony rides, train rides, trampolines and Go-Karts and explore the nature trails. If the weather is not on your side then the huge play barn is the place to head and as climbing frames, slides, ball pool and rope swings as well as a baby and toddler area.

The Eden Project is a fantastic local attraction in Cornwall which will appeal to families and couples.  From the moment you step through the entrance it's clear that this is no ordinary attraction.  All under one roof you will find a giant rainforest, Horticulture courses, rock climbing, ice skating and an arts cafe.  Not all of these activities are on at one time, they are staggered throughout the year so check out the website to see what's available when you plan to visit.  Autumn at Eden is very popular with events such as daily apple pressing and Time Changing Tales (story telling with an autumn theme).

Land's End is one of Britain's best loved landmarks with its unique location offering breathtaking scenery and great natural splendour. The site has been developed to offer five family friendly attractions including an exhibition centre currently showing a fantastic Dr Who exhibition - a must for fans of the show. Other attractions include Scull Rock - A 4D film experience and Greeb Farm - A small animal farm which is sure to be a big hit with younger children. Inclusive tickets for all attractions are excellent value with a family of four costing just £25.00
