Emma
Ash Lodge offers a really peaceful escape with stunning scenery. The three ensuite rooms each have fantastic viewsand the hot tub was a lovely touch. We enjoyed fishing at the lake and appreciated how helpful the owners were - quick to answer questions and keep us updated. It was just what we needed for a relaxing break!

We really enjoyed our stay here! The lodge was quite private, with stunning views all around. The layout was spot onand the bedrooms were a good size - really comfy. The outside patio was perfect for relaxingand the jacuzzi was a lovely bonus. Only thing was, the mirrors in the bathrooms were poorly placed, forcing us to bend down to see ourselves. The old wooden equipment looked a bit tiredand no throws for the couches, which was a bit disappointing. The village, Stamford PRead moreeverell, isn’t exactly a walkable place; we cycled and found the narrow lanes quite risky with fast cars. Still, we loved the walks with our dogs!
Emma
The lodge was stunningand the scenery was just breathtaking. We loved it!
Emma
Really enjoyed the stay, comfy furnishings, lovely hot tub, peaceful spot, perfect for walks with the dogs!
Claire
We really enjoyed our stay at this well equipped lodge that offers stunning views. The kitchen had everything we neededand the dining table and sofas were super comfy. Each bedroom was lovely, featuring quality beds and fantastic en-suite bathrooms. The hot tub was a great bonus too, overlooking the lake and the Willow tree!
Ben
We had a fantastic stay in this excellent modern accommodation, which was just perfect for our family weekend gathering! The property is of high quality and has all the fittings you could need, including a hot tub! Even though it’s one of four properties, the walls and fencing really gave us privacy, so we hardly noticed the others were there. The view over the lake is attractiveand it's set in a lovely rural location while still being close to main r oads. Overall, we highly recommend it!
Mark
We had a brilliant time during our stay. The lodge was high spec, really comfortableand clean with amazing views over a nearby lake. The peaceful setting was just perfect. It was fantastic to be able to walk the dogs directly from the lodgeand they loved having a swim in one of the lakes. The owners have clearly put a lot of thought into the layout and facilities of the lodges and have created something truly special.
James
We found the accommodation really nicely presented, very clean and well thought out! It has all the essentials, which is a great touch.
Samantha
We have just enjoyed a lovely week at West Pitt Lodge and lakes. We loved it so much that we’ve already booked another week for next year. The Lodge was just perfect, a real home from home. Fishing was great too! Honestly, nothing to fault at all. It’s a 20-minute walk to the local pub, The Globeand the Spar shop, with excellent directions provided by the owners in the in-house info. The lodge is remote, with single lane tracks all around, making it just perfect for a relaxing break away from it all. The WIFI was good.
Emma
What a beautiful setting! Our lodge had everything we needed for a comfortable stay. The kitchen was really well equipped, especially for foodies like us who enjoy self-catering at a high level. We felt truly immersed in natureand even though we’re not anglers, the lakes offered stunning views from every bedroom and the lounge. If you're after peace and tranquility, then this is definitely the place for you.
Lucy
This is a really lovely place to stay. We actually stayed here a couple of years ago but our daughter booked it last time. We had a great family holiday. Our 6 year old grandson loved it and was really upset to go home! It's private and peaceful. Everything is of the highest quality and is extremely clean and well cared for. It's a bit of a tricky road to drive on to get to the property but totally worth it when you arrive.

We've just got back from a fantastic holiday! Everything about this holiday home is spot on. The beds are super comfortable, the kitchen is really well equippedand the showers are just brilliant. The boys, aged 11 and 12, absolutely loved the hot tub and hopped in every night while dinner was being cooked. Everyone who fished caught a good specimen, including Carp, Roachand Tench on sweetcorn bait. We took a trip to Westward Ho for the beachand Tavistock is such a lovely town. We were quite surprised at the number of shops too. We will definitely be back!
Hannah
What a beautiful secluded rural spot by a lake packed with fish and stunning waterlilies. The garden is hugeand the hot tub is deep and spacious. They provided all the essentials and even more than we expected. It’s in an ideal location for visiting beaches and local towns. So peaceful! We really enjoyed being surrounded by nature and could wander through the fields and around the lakes. Loved every minute! The furniture is super comfy and cosy. Can't fault it at all. We will definitely be back.
James
We had a fantastic family holiday with both family and our pets. The lodge had everything we needed and was really peaceful, the view was absolutely astounding and we’d be more than happy to go again. The added bonus of three en-suite rooms suited our family perfectly and we all loved the hot tub. The lodge was very welcoming and clean and tidy, with plenty of hot water and loads of seating outside on the patio and decking!
Lucy
We had a lovely long weekend here for our son's 21st birthday! It was so relaxing and peaceful with stunning views, a hot tub and fishing. We'll definitely be back!
Kate
What a fantastic location and absolutely gorgeous lodges! Everything was just perfect and we can’t recommend staying here enough. The views are stunning, just like the lodge itself. Seb was brilliant and made sure our stay was amazing. We loved the log burner and the hot tub. Such a great place to relax and unwind!
Emily
What an amazing break! So relaxing and the lodge had everything we needed and even a bit more. It was stunning and we will definitely come back for another stay!
Lucy
We stayed for three nights with two other couples and had a brilliant weekend. Beautiful location, the lodge is stunning, modern, cosy, well thought out, clean and really well equipped. It feels quite private even though there are a few other lodges nearby. All of the bedrooms and the dining area have views over the lakeand we even spotted a kingfisher catching its breakfast one morning! Would highly recommend and we hope to visit again soon.
Claire
The lodge is lovely, with three ensuite rooms all overlooking the fishing lake. It has everything you need for a relaxing break, even though we aren't fishermen. It was nice to stroll around the lake and fields with our dog. The hot tub was such a great treat after a day out! Watching the sun set while relaxing in the warm tub was just perfect. We were really lucky with the weather. It feels quite remote, but it didn’t take long to get to Tiverton, Teignmouthand Exmouth (not all on the same day, mind!). We really enjoyed our stay.
Lucy

It was perfect for a relaxed break, with loads of places to drive to during the day. We had a great time and will definitely be booking again in the future!
