This is a beautiful lodge. We stayed as a family and loved it. The large hot tub is off to the side and a great asset. The pool is so close and was generally empty. It is remote location, which is a great hideaway. Be prepared to drive a while if you want to go anywhere. We had a few days out and few days relaxing there. Peaceful setting, very spacious property. The balcony was the perfect setting to watch the sunrise, and hot tub was a great place to unwind. Advice would be to bring toilet roll, bin bags, cleaning products as these were sparsely supplied. Recommendations include Chumleigh Tandoori takeaway if you dont fancy cooking (15min drive) and Westward Ho! Beach (especially with a pup!) Hide

Lovely Lodge. Still very new. Certainly had everything you need on a stay away from home. Would definately recommend it for the scenery and restful location. Great place for a holiday base.

Cottage is very remote at the top of the valley and scenery is beautiful. If you want peace and quiet for relaxation and recharge place is idyllic. The hot tub is to the side of the cottage and perfect for privacy. Beds are very comfortable and is well decorated and equipped for self catering. If you want a lovely Sunday dinner book at the Clubhous e at Labbaton Golf Club, very nice and well priced. A visit to Instow beach is also lovely. Definitely stay again for a peaceful scenic break
