Honestly, we loved the cottage! It was perfect for unwindingand the views from the balcony are simply stunning. The peaceful silence really helped us relax fully. The location is idealand we’re already planning to come back within the next year. Thanks so much for letting us stay in your lovely lodge, it made our trip really special!
Emma
We had an amazing stay at Deer Lodge! The hot tub and balcony furniture made relaxing evenings so lovely. It’s tucked away in a peaceful spot, perfect for unwinding after exploring North Devon, though it’s a bit of a drive to the coast. The place was well kitted out with comfy beds, fluffy towels (a bath mat wouldn't hurt though)and a great kitchen. Felt just like home and would definitely come back!
Emma
We had a lovely stay at this lodge! The setting is perfect for a quiet getawayand the hot tub was such a treat, especially since it’s tucked away to the side. The pool’s nearby and usually empty, which was a bonus. Be prepared for quite a drive if you want to explore nearby places, but we enjoyed some days out and others just relaxing. The kitchen had all the essentialsand the lounge’s big TV was a nice touch. Definitely bring toilet roll, washing-up stuff, bin bagsand foil if you’re planning to cook. Would recommend for sure!
Emma
Great stay, everything we needed was provided, lovely location!
James

Sarah
We absolutely loved the lodge! It was super cosy and had everything we needed. The hot tub was the perfect finish. Location was peacefuland we had a really lovely stay. Would come back!
Emma
We loved the peaceful vibe and the spaciousness of the place. The balcony was just right for catching the sunriseand relaxing in the hot tub was perfect after a day out. A heads up though-bring your own toilet roll, bin bagsand cleaning stuff since they’re in short supply. It’s quite remote, so you’re looking at a 30 to 60-minute drive to the nearest supermarket or attractions. Chumleigh Tandoori is great if you don’t fancy cookingand Westward Ho! Beach is a must-visit, especially with a pup in tow!
Sam
This lodge is a lovely find, still quite new but fully equipped for a comfy stay. Perfect for relaxing, with stunning views. We’d definitely recommend it as a quiet, scenic base for a holiday.
Emma T
We loved how tucked away the cottage was, perched at the top of a quiet valley with stunning views. It’s perfect if you're after some proper peace and quiet to unwind. The hot tub on the side gave us privacy, which was great. The beds were super comfyand everything inside was nicely decorated and well stocked for self-catering. We also enjoyed a Sunday meal at the Labbaton Golf Club-very friendly and reasonably priced. A stroll on Instow beach was lovely too. We’ll definitely be coming back for another peaceful getaway!
James
The place was really nice, super spacious with stunning views. The jacuzzi was huge and felt brand new - loved it!
