Lovely cottage with great amenities and some very nice homely touches. It is quite remote and roads are very narrow, so take care and be prepared. Hot tub would benefit from some form of covering (big umbrella) to keep towels, dressing gowns and shoes dry in the rain.

Spent 3 nights at Gidcott Mill for my wife's birthday. Could not have chosen a better place to stay. The decor and facilities provided are of the highest standard and we had the most laid back relaxing weekend we have had for ages. The hot tub and the welcome pack where an added bonus. We had a couple of meals in the Devils Stone pub in Shebbear wh ich is about a mile and half down the road, vey enjoyable. Would definitely stay again and highly recommend.

This cottage is a real find. Tucked away down twisty country lanes it is in a beautiful location with lots of wildlife to watch. It is really quiet and peaceful, and the hot tub was superb.
