The hot tub was a real treat and we made good use of it everyday. The quiet countryside meant great sleep every night. We spent most days in Bude (30 mins) and made 2 trips to the Milky Way (30Read more mins) which both kids really enjoyed. There has clearly been a lot of thought put into this holiday homes detail. Spotlessly clean and very modern. The hot tub is fun and has a beautiful view. Lot is wildlife in the garden and the fields in front. Garden is v ery private. Loads to do in the area. Owner very welcoming. Hope to return some day.

Spent 3 nights at Gidcott Mill for my wife's birthday. Could not have chosen a better place to stay. The decor and facilities provided are of the highest standard and we had the most laid back relaxing weekend we have had for ages. The hot tub and the welcome pack where an added bonus. We had a couple of meals in the Devils Stone pub in Shebbear wh ich is about a mile and half down the road, vey enjoyable. Would definitely stay again and highly recommend.

Gidcott Cottage is a wonderful property. It is very well equipped with everything youll need and is in such a peaceful and tranquil location, ideal for exploring both Devon and Cornwall. The hot tub is a super addition with glorious views into open fields. The hosts are so accommodating and the hamper on arrival was very welcome indeed! We would hi ghly recommend staying here

We had a wonderful stay at Gidcott cottage. It was in a beautiful setting and very well appointed. The kitchen facilities were excellent. Absolutely loved the hot tub and used it everyday. A really peaceful location to relax and unwind.

There is plenty of wildlife to be on the lookout for. The cottage has a very homely feel and we made the most of the well maintained hot tub.

This cottage is a real find. Tucked away down twisty country lanes it is in a beautiful location with lots of wildlife to watch. It is really quiet and peaceful, and the hot tub was superb. A very clean comfortable cottage with an extremely well-equipped kitchen with quality appliances and plenty of crockery and cooking utensils. The interior is mo dern and is exactly like the photographs. We used this as a base to easily travel around Devon, Dartmoor and Cornwall.

We had a fantastic week with our kids at this house. It is lovely, clean and fresh. Everything we needed was there. The hot tub is amazing! This is a really good base for exploring Devon and North Cornwall. Would recommend and go back.
