Loved this place! We chose this working dairy farm as our young grandsons love tractors and cows!! It didnt disappoint at all. The owners were very friendly and on hand if we needed them. Please note, the Internet did not work for the whole week we were there so we had to use Tiverton library. The property should be rated as 3 star as it is not as well-equipped or clean as the other 4 star properties we have stayed in with Holiday Cottages. However, good hot tub. What a lovely stay, the internet was non existent for the first few days and intermittent after that which was not a bad thing, as we played family games and spent lots of quality time together. One small issue with a bed when we arrived but that was quickly resolved, the farm owners were just lovely and I now appreciate what long days they work! I t was lovely seeing the cows come down to be milked daily. All in all we had a fab stay and would love to come back again.
Emma
Great property, very spacious. Plenty of crockery, cutlery, saucepans etc. Hot tub was a good size. Kids loved the tennis court, the xbox and the board games. Quite rural but this suited us. A few nosey cows paid us a visit which was fun! Occasional farm smell but to be expected on a working farm and it didnt bother us. Overall a really great prope rty.
Maxine
Lovely quiet location, nice walks around but close to Tiverton. Cottage is detached with lots of generous sized rooms and lots of parking. Loved the hot tub and it also has a big lawned area which we didnt realise.
Lynne
Great house with hot tub . But situated right in working farm so noisy early mornings. Very remote . House needs some upgrades with windows which were very draughty It was an ideal house for our large family Christmas get together with plenty of parking and we did enjoy it
Jennifer
Great holiday loved the hot tub and tennis court.
Rhian
Pros: spacious lovely house, fab hot tub, TVs in all bedrooms. Well suited to multigenerational holidays. Well equipped kitchen. Welcoming host. Cons: aga doesnt work anymore, Wifi can be patchy. Can stream on one TV at a time but cant cope with others on devices too. It is a working farm and the cottage is close by so be prepared for the smells an d sounds of a working farm. Be sure to follow the hosts instructions. Apple Maps will take you along a less suitable road for low cars.
Jayne
If you love the countryside this is the holiday place for you. Situated on a working farm the children loved to see the cows coming down to be milked. The property has everything you could need and safe for the youngsters. The hot tub was a great winner for the adult's to unwind at the end of the day and watch the beautiful night skies you can see here
Lesley
Beautiful house, lovely hot tub. Careful on the concrete road its a bit of a challenge.
David
Set in a rural area it is a house rather than a cottage It is a very comfortable property with large kitchen and dining area.
Susan
Spacious house. Very comfortable. Lovely relaxing stay. Hot tub was a big bonus. Make sure you follow the instructions of how to get there rather than follow the sat nav then there's no chance of getting lost.
Stephen
This property is perfect for a large family or small group of adults. The well equipped kitchen area with dining and living space was great for entertaining and cooking our meals. The outside space is very good with great views, there is a good sized lawn for games and the tennis court an added bonus. The Hot Tub was excellent and we used it most d ays. Bedrooms were all of a good size. Location is excellent with access to the moors, north and south Devon beaches within an hour.
Donna
We had a lovely relaxing time at the cottage with ample space for a large party. It was lovely to be able to watch the cows daily. Sadly weather wasnt too great to be able to make the most of the outdoor space.
Alan
A well appointed and spacious property on a working farm so be prepared for noise and aromas. Plenty of space around the property with private grassed area. Well equipped and very helpful owner.
Angela
If you like peace and quiet in the middle of nowhere this house is perfect for you. The views are breathtaking and you really do relax once youre there. We didnt find the cows a problem , we loved them and you adjust to the smell after a few days. The owners were so nice and welcoming, they even found time to chat to us. The house was well equipped and a good size of 7 of us. We made the most of the tennis courts and hot tub. Flies can be a pain ( especially in summer) but you are on a farm.
Kevin
We finally made this break following two postponements due to a Covid, and it did not disappoint. The accommodation had everything you could think of for a great weeks holiday and plenty of space for us, our three grown up children and their partners, plus small dog. The private hot tub and shared use of the tennis court were a much appreciated par t of our time here. We used the property as a base to visit some new places to us and some old favourites a bit further afield.
Heather
We absolutely loved this house, it was immaculate! Anything and everything needed for cooking, laundry etc was available at property. It was so spacious and just an absolute delight to be in, brilliant for sunny days/evenings and also just as good to be in when weather not so good. as there is so much space and no getting on top of each other! maki ng full use of the tennis court and the hot tub! Our babies loved to watch cows as they returned up the lane after milking! Will be returning!
