We thoroughly enjoyed our week here in May. It was one of the cleanest properties we have ever stayed in and it's a beautiful location. Our son enjoyed seeing the animals, feeding the pigs and walking around the grounds and we had a lovely welcome from the owner. There's plenty to do 20 - 40 minutes away by car, and Quince Honey Farm is a two minut e trip away which is also definitely worth a visit. The kitchen is well equipped and we had everything we needed to cook meals in the evening.

We had wonderful time at the Northgate Manor, the property had everything- lovely views, comfortable, caring hosts, abundant parking, clean rooms, hot tub, farm animals inc. Alpacas, and plenty of space to accommodate all six of us. Mrs Cripps was an amazing host, she brought some toys over for our little one to play with. All in all - a great plac e and can recommend it to anyone.

If you are thinking of booking this cottage do it - you wont be disappointed, its the best placed we have ever stayed and the most dog friendly. The cottage is absolutely fabulous and the owners are wonderful. The cottage is superbly appointed and extremely comfortable - its like being in your own home. The location is stunning and sitting in the h ot tub star gazing is a great way to end the day. We spent a perfect family Christmas at the cottage with grandparents and our dogs. Thank you
Owen
Lovely area, lovely house and very relaxing. However the owner clearly has an aversion to large dogs. Despite us being clear when booking and in emails and calls, when the owner arrived to welcome us this welcome chat very quickly became a warning chat about our dog. For context he is a German shepherd, friendly and well trained. The owner then kep t our 50 deposit for cleaning. All of which she attributed to our dog, none of which is true. Relaxing week with a nasty sting at the end.
Carol
Returned to cottage after lovely stay last year. Again could not be faulted. Im sure we will return
Jackie
The first thing that stuck me as soon as I walked through the door was how spotlessly clean the property was, I knew immediately that we would be extremely comfortable and that we would be back. Loved the grounds, around the property, the animals and above all Georgie the sheep who happily wanders around doing her own thing. I would have no hesitat ion in recommending a stay at North Gate Barn. Cant wait to visit again.
Julie
Beautiful cottage. spotlessly clean. Note no downstairs toilet this was a struggle for us as I have arthritis in both Knees and my husband had just had heart surgery.
