Honestly, we didnâ€™t realise the ownerâ€™s property was right next door, which was a bit of a surprise. The garden and hot tub area werenâ€™t as private as hoped since it was overlooked by the neighbours. Also, the garden gate didnâ€™t lock, which felt a bit odd. Parking was a nightmare for anything larger than a small car-really tight! On the plus side, the place was spotless, well-equippedand felt cosy. The homemade cake was a lovely touchand we appreciated the early check-in. Not bad overall, just some quirks!

We spent Christmas here and honestly, it was just perfect! The house was beautifully decorated and had everything we could possibly need. The comfy sofa and fireplace made for a cosy spot to relax after all the Christmas feasting. We had such a lovely stay! The place is really cosy and perfect for a chillout. The open plan downstairs makes it feel spaciousand the garden being fully enclosed was a big plus for us and the dog - no worries about escapes. We also loved how close it is to dog-friendly beaches and pubs, the ownersâ€™ tips were spot on. It was quite warm during our visit, so we didnâ€™t need the log burner, but I bet itâ€™s fantastic in winter. Definitely recommend!

As well as the amazing animals to experience there are regular fun activities such as face painting, daily events and zoo trails.

Combe Martin Wildlife and Dinosaur Park is a big hit with families and has a wonderful setting within 26 acres of Sub Tropical grounds. During a stroll around the site you will encounter so of the worlds most endangered animals and also take a peek back to prehistoric times when Dinosaurs roamed the earth. The park is home to the worlds only full size animatronic Tyrannosaurus Rex as well as Lions, Wolves, Sea Lions, Meerkats and many other species, Top attractions include the amazing Sea Lion Shows, Falconry Display and Sea Lion Swims.
