Nuthatch Cottage Reviews

Mark
We really enjoyed the cosy cottage, especially the hot tub. The games room was a lovely surprise for the grown-ups to relax and unwind!
Emma
We loved the cottage, but with a dog and a little one, it was tricky finding safe walks with a pushchair-mostly just country lanes without pavements or proper trails. Despite that, the weather was lovelyand four generations had a wonderful weekend. The takeaway from China Orchids in Cullompton was great value too.
Emma
Beautiful stay, cosy cottage, friendly hosts, can’t wait to come back!
Emma
We had such a lovely stay! The location is stunningand the cottage had everything we could want - super cosy and well-stocked. The games room was a real hitand the private hot tub made it extra special. Perfect spot for a chilled out weekend with friends or family, definitely recommend!
Emma
Really enjoyed the cosy vibe of the cottage, perfect for family birthdays. Big thanks to Imogen and Justin for everything!
Charlie
Cozy, well-stocked, lovely place

What a lovely place to stay! We had a family holiday with 7 of us plus a lab for a week. The cottage was really well equipped for a self-catering holiday. The hosts were fantastic, checking in whenever we bumped into them but not too intrusive during our stay. The games room was a great bonus and the hot tub was well maintained, checked every morning. We even had access to a field for the dog. Would absolutely recommend this cottage for a great break away. We would book again!
Oliver

There’s a games room with a pool table, table tennisand table football, so you can enjoy some entertaining evenings. The hot tub was super relaxing and well maintained. Plus, being dog friendly is a real bonus!

As five sisters, we try to escape for a weekend every February half term. This time, we picked Nuthatch Cottage because of the great layout downstairs. It felt open plan and really comfortable and homely. Plus, the hot tub was a lovely bonus! The space was really roomy and the beds were comfy too.

We spent a week here with family—six adults and three kids. It was absolutely wonderful, couldn't have asked for more! My granddaughter adored the jacuzzi; it really made her holiday. We explored Seaton, Exmoor, Lyme Regisand Sidmouth too.
Emily
Nuthatch cottage is such a lovely place! The peace and quiet (aside from the birds and the odd parachute) is incredibly relaxing. The night sky is so dark, making the stars visible in a way we never see at home. It’s the perfect spot for a tranquil getaway. The cottage itself is super comfortable and well equipped, plus it even had a mixer and a cake tin if you fancy baking! The beds were very comfy - definitely the best sleep we’ve had! The hot tub was a real treat and everything was well kept and maintained. Our hosts were delightful too!
Mark
What a lovely cottage in a lovely spot! We really can’t fault it. The location on a farm is just perfect.
Emily
What a lovely cottage! There’s loads of space for us all, even with 8 people. It’s so peacefuland those views over the countryside are just stunning.
Emma
We had a party of 8 adults and 2 infantsand some of us got there early, but Mrs Luxmoore was really accommodating and let us in ahead of time. The bedrooms and bathrooms were a good sizeand if it's a hot summer night, the downstairs bedroom is definitely the best choice. The kitchen and dining area were spacious and fully equipped too. There’s plenty of parking (we managed with 3 cars) and the views are beau tiful. We didn't make it to the games room because of time, but overall we really enjoyed our stay and would recommend it!
Oliver
What a lovely cottage! It was super comfortable for our group of eightand there was loads of kitchen equipment available. The place was nice and clean, plus the hot tub got checked daily and was also very clean. We had a really lovely weekend!
Emma
Such a beautiful cottage, it feels really homely and warm, with all the essentials you need. We even got a bottle of bubbles when we arrived!
Omar
A stunning and really comfy cottage. The owner Imogen was super welcoming and helpful with local attractions. We will definitely be back for sure!
