Owls Roost Escape Reviews

Tanja
Stunning location, easily accessible to most of Devon's key landmarks. Super dog friendly with enclosed garden. Warm, comfortable with all the facilities we needed. Cleaning needs slight improvement to warrant the 5 price it demands. However it is a 5 location.
Ann
It was a lovely place to be as you felt like you were one with nature in your own tree house.

Owls Roost is a totally delightful place to stay for peace and quiet and to feel at one with nature. The direct access to ancient woodland, an array of wildlife and perfect star gazing provide excellent opportunities to unwind. Add in the hot tub and the whole set up is incredibly relaxing.
David
Gorgeous built wooden lodge set in it's own private ancient woodland, with everything you need for a comfortable stay. Lovely suspended decking with own private hot tub where you feel that you are in the trees, also with a roofed area that you can still enjoy when it rains. If you want peace and quiet with just the sounds of nature this is the plac e. The owners are super friendly and helpful.

Absolutely loved this beautiful cottage. Mery and John are super hosts and very welcoming. This cottage has everything you need. Well thought out and practical for dog owners. Our labrador absolutely loved her own private little enclosed garden as well as the run of the private woods just outside the front door. If I could live here I would. We spe nt our evenings watching the shooting stars and seeing the bats and owls flying overhead. A very special place indeed. We loved it.

The whole place was immaculate and very comfortable and has everything you could possibly need, the owners are lovely and helpful but only when needed otherwise it is just you and the trees! Owls Roost is the most fantastic place to stay if you want: the most lovely owners, the most beautiful setting with wildlife on your doorstep, the view from the decking is magical, the cabin is stunning with everything you need including a lovely log burner.
