This spacious semi-detached house, within walking distance of a beautiful, sandy beach, is perfect for a large group of friends and family. Outdoor enthusiasts of all ages will love running, playing, swimming and surfing all from your doorstep. Discover wonderful views with hikes along spectacular coastal paths before returning to soak in the hot tub. Sleeping ten guests, the lounge can be divided in two with folding doors, creating very useful extra space when young and old need a bit of peace and quiet. Stylish yet welcoming, white walls and wooden floors are punctuated with splashes of colour in artwork and soft furnishings. Occupying a superb, elevated position looking out to sea, the bay windows allow light to flood in and boasts amazing views. Well equipped and fully functional house. The utility room was a real joy allowing you to come straight in and sort the dog and yourself out before entering the main property really handy in the British weather. We found the property nice and homely and spacious and double parking at the front of the property makes life easy.

Beautiful large holiday home. Very spacious and modern with all the creature comforts you could possibly want. The location is perfect with the beach, restaurants and bars all within easy walking distance. John the owner was brilliantly helpful. We will definitely be returning.

We loved Salty Tides - it is a fabulous holiday home in a great location. The home has everything you could possible need and is a very comfortable, cosy, home from home on holiday. Thank you to John for the lovely goodies that you left for our arrival & also the goodies for Daisy, our black lab (although we missed seeing them until after she'd lef t!). This house has a very high standard of fittings, is located very well for beach access etc, and has been very well thought out in terms of kit supplied for a relaxing and comfortable holiday. Thoroughly recommended and we'll be back as the whole family settled in and felt at home within minutes of arrival and all had a great holiday.

If you want a lovely house to stay in which would cater for all your needs and dog friendly this is it. Lovely huge long beach when tide out to walk and enjoy the views, plus a huge green space off the estate to explore. The hot tub is great after long walks so its a must do task, its a flat 15 min walk to the town where you can stop off at dog fri endly eateries either for lunch or just a refreshing drink. We enjoyed our 4 night stay and thoroughly recommend Salty Tides.

Exmoor Zoo is described as a "family zoo" on their website and it certainly makes a great day out for families.  There are many exotic and rare animals as well as birds to see which are living in natural surroundings.  Some recent improvements at the zoo include a new 5 metre tower at the cheetahs and raised walkways at the "beast".  There is also a new viewing platform over the sitatunga.  As well as the amazing animals to experience there are regular fun activities such as face painting, daily events and zoo trails.
