The Old Paddock Reviews

Paul
We feel that more comfortable chairs in the kitchen/living area would have been great, the benches provided we good for meals but very unconfutable at other times. We also could not get the hot tub past 34.5 degrees which for us was just a bit to low. Other than the above we had a great time and the property/location was stunning.
Lorraine
Amazing house with all needs catered for. Bude and Holsworthy are only a ten minute drive away.
Lily
Brilliant all round would definitely recommend, six adults and our 4 months old baby just came home from a 7 day stay at the paddock, we could not fault it. They had thought off everything. Scones, milk and single black bag and all the essentials you would need for your first day was left when we arrived which was amazing to save us running straighRead moret to the shop after a long drive. Sun loungers and beach toys left in the garage. A very well thought out holiday home. We would all return. Hide

Angie
Lovely and comfortable home- it was well equipped and well thought out. Friendly and quiet village setting, only 10-15 min to Bude and beaches. Highly recommend!

A superb holiday home with plenty of space both inside and out. It is situated in a lovely quiet village but near to the main roads to enjoy exploring both Devon and Cornwall. Very friendly but not intrusive neighbours. House is very well equipped, clean with everything you need for a perfect holiday. Oh and it has the large hot tub bonus.

Wow what a beautiful house to stay at. The moment we pulled up in the drive we fell in love. The little touches added that bit extra too. Holiday cottages are our go to people for all our stay-cations and although we have never been disappointed this house has topped it for us and we 100% will be rebooking for another Xmas here. The house was perfeRead morectly clean and we needed some support during our stay and the response we had was second to none. 100% recommend to all families/couples. Hide

First impressions, wow. The robes and chocolate for each guest was a nice touch. However, the house needs a deep clean to remove all the spiders and cob webs. The broken Items outside and inside the house should be pointed.
Sharon
A lovely well equipped house with everything you need. Robes in bedroom and welcome food gifts are a lovely touch. Hot tub is perfect. Would love to come and stay again. The only thing we needed was a few extra bin liners to make sure everything, including recycling, is bagged up correctly for the bins to be emptied (by hand and not the usual refusRead moree way) which is understandable due to location!SELECTED!. !ENDOFSELECTED! A beautiful home from home. Well equipped for our family of 7 adults and 2 dogs. Good quality furniture and beds and bedding was lovely. Property is very private and has good parking space. Bring your own consumables, we had some to start us off like washing up liquid etc but if you want to use the washing machine I would recommend you bring tabletRead mores with you. Wasnt a problem as you can buy at the supermarkets in Bude. Property is centrally located for access to many tourist attractions. Hide
