Excellent property, well furnished, all the kitchen equipment you need, beds were very comfortable. As there were 5 of us who like a shower we would have liked another shower over the bath. The location was excellent, in the countryside but near to local amenities and lots of lovely beaches. We would definitely stay here again!

I have loved staying there! Close enough to all amenities, but far away enough to be able to wake up to no noise, just birds singing. Road to the property is a little bumpy, but at the end you find your treasure. Every time we have left for sightseeing, it felt so good coming back and relaxing in the barn. Loved the jacuzzi. We were staying with a little toddler and having a gate by the stairs made our stay even more relaxing, he loved the cows just outside our fence. I would come back there.

This was a lovely place and met all our needs as a family of five. It was spotlessly clean on arrival and the living space and kitchen worked very well for us as a family. Having the living space upstairs allowed us to enjoy beautiful views over the countryside and the velux windows made the space so light and uplifting. The owners were very helpfu l if we ever needed anything. This was a lovely, quiet spot, full of wildlife but only a short drive from amenities in Hayle and fabulous beaches.

Paradise Park first opened its doors in Cornwall in 1973 and has been one of the regions top attractions ever since. What was once just a tropical bird garden is now a refuge for many different species of animal and aims to be educational as well as fun for its visitors. The inhabitants include some typical UK creatures including Otters, and Red Squirrels as well as some more unusual and rare animals including Red Pandas. Younger children will enjoy meeting the friendly animals in the farm area. The site has recently been extended and now also has a fantastic Jungle Barn where kids can let of steam.

The Rock Gardens, Caves and Nursery - TQ5 9HG

The Rock Gardens Caves and Nursery have an amazing setting in the old Palace Quarry. The gardens offer an abundance of trees, plants and floral displays including a very grand 80ft Elm Tree and a stunning Weeping Ash. The site also offers a large carp pond, a breathtaking illuminated cave and a tea room serving tasty local produce.

A fantastic attraction with something for everyone. Combining rides, activities and exhibitions it's all here in the one place. Look out for seasonal events too such as the Fire in the Sky event on 27th October 2010 - discount advance tickets are available for most of the events so don't forget to check out their website. Some of the most popular thrill rides include the first Twisting Droptower in the UK called the Skyraker 001. The Hornert Rollercoaster is also not to be missed.

You don't need to worry about the weather either as this is an all weather attraction with the addition of soft play areas and a ball pool for the little ones. Some of the highlights include the Bull Pen indoor play area, the Raging Bulls Ride, Pat-aPet and the Mini tractors. Of course there is also the opportunity to get up close to the farm animals and try some bottle feeding.
