As above. Cottage is nice and spacious.
Alan
Beautiful location close to beach. Bungalow ideal for holiday although slight maintenance required outside
Lisa
Beautiful cottage, lovely surroundings and location. The cottage had everything we needed, clean, very comfortable beds and bedding and the garden, hot tub and table tennis table were fantastic. We loved our stay here and the biscuits and fizz on arrival was a lovely touch.
Iain
Excellent location, space and hot tub fantastic. Only part of the garden is dog secure.
Scott
Great few days away, kitchen was great with everything you could need. Really nice gesture with the bottle of prosecco and box of biscuits, made our arrival that much better! Would definately book again
Richard
Third time we have stayed at this cottage, and again we had a wonderful stay
Chris
Driveway scary driving off but lovely bungalow I would stay again
Josie
We had a great holiday, and the property was almost perfect for our requirements - two adults, three children and dog. Great location and table tennis table and hot tub were enjoyed by all. Only challenge was that although a large section of the garden is enclosed, you have to walk a few metres to get there, so it's only secure for dogs/children if you shut the main driveway gate.
Kirstine
Lovely comfortable bungalow with beautiful views down the valley to the sea. Hot tub was amazing after a day on the beach. The table tennis was well used by the whole family.
Iain
Our 3rd stay here. Amazing location, views and space. House works well for us but too pricey now so will probably be our last visit.
Judith
Great property in a super location. The hot tub is a good place to relax.
Carl
The location of the property and view is great. The house and gardens need updating and tlc. The road outside is very busy and unsafe to walk along with children or animals. Having returned still not sure if the garden is secure for animals and having other people walking through the garden to the caravan gives no privacy and obviously could upset and dogs. All in all not value for money and just disappointed with the property. We will not book this property again.
Abbie
5 star views and location, 3 star cottage.
Phyllis
Lovely location, lovely views from the hot tub, which was well used whilst we were there. Woolacombe is a lovely location and most shops down in the village are adequate for a holiday stay. The Lynton and Lynmouth Cliff Railway is a must also the many sea excursions from Ilfracombe .
Stuart
Great week spent at Highlands, we were impressed with the bungalow and the land that the property stood on. The enclosed garden was great for our dog and the place was very clean and tidy. Thanks for making our holiday great. Hopefully see you next year .
Alex
Hot tub was cold when arrived, other than that it was great :)
Timothy
Lovely cottage and would great for a large family group if there was second bathroom.
Dawn
Long weekend in early February. We are frequent visitors to Woolacombe, this is the furthest we've stayed out of the village. Negatives: Electric panel heaters, but not in dining room nor room next to kitchen. Fan heaters in those rooms insufficient. Unfenced courtyard leads to road, dangerous for dogs/children Plastic glasses needed for hot tub Tr icky turning out on to road Positives Lovely linen and towels Comfy bed Welcome biscuits, milk and prosecco Hot tub Quiet Great shower Quirky
Lisa
Comfy beds and great outdoor space for dogs. Not disability friendly aside being on 1 level. Decking around whole of property is dangerously slippery, 2 of us fell. On arrival it was clear the house has a serious damp problem and unclean, no good for young children or persons with a lung condition. House is in amazing location with wonderful views, sadly the lack of attention was clear. 4 star rating? - with things like a rusty cooker and sockets (inc. fridge) which turn themselves off randomly!
Gill
Location amazing
Sian
Nice bungalow with great views from the hot tub viewing Woolacombe. Brilliant location for exploring but need a car as its not safe to walk on road outside of property. Land for dogs to play on and a more secure area around the hot tub. Some of the land is partially shared with an air stream caravan. Jon who maintains the property is helpful. Had i ssue with hot tub and he sent engineer out same day. Few things on property need fixing/updating to improve it. Heating & hot water hard to use.
