The kitchen had all we needed to whip up a family Sunday roast and there was a helpful level of cleaning products provided including dishwasher tabs which is unusual. Great location - 5 min walk from the harbour. Steep incline on the walk back from the harbour which may prove difficult for some with mobility issues. For us it was a good way to work off the many ice creams we consumed. Lovely walks just across the road, pitch and putt and a cafe. House was very clean - smelt lovely. Bedrooms are big. Lovely stay at Lantern view, the house has everything you need for your stay! We even managed to cook a roast dinner, the kitchen is that well equipped. We made the most of walks into Ilfracombe harbour and enjoyed a couple of meals at The lime Kiln just down the road, beautiful views. I recently stayed at a beach rental in Devon and it was a fantastic experience. The highlight was the stunning view from the top balcony of the coastline, which was breathtaking. The location was perfect for a bit of everything, from beach time to shopping, but we found ourselves not wanting to leave the house much as everything we needed was provi ded. The amenities were excellent, with comfortable furnishings and modern appliances.

As well as the amazing animals to experience there are regular fun activities such as face painting, daily events and zoo trails.
