Just got back from a lovely week away. The house was absolutely gorgeous-stunning and spotless. The hot tub was a real highlight, used every night to unwind after busy days. The log fire was perfect for cosy evenings; we sat watching it for ages. The owners kept us updated throughout, which was nice. Honestly, we didn’t want to leave! We recently stayed here with a group of seven plus two dogsand honestly, it was lovely. The welcome pack for both humans and pups was a nice touch. The blankets for cosy evenings were perfect. The hot tub got plenty of use, especially after long walks. The big garden across the way was great for a quick football match with the goal post. Joe was super friendly and helpful throughout. Definitely a place we'd recommend for a relaxing break!

We had an amazing time at Goose Acre Farm! The house is stunning and the outdoor space is perfect for relaxing. All seven of us felt really comfortable, especially with the downstairs bedroom and en-suite for my disabled mum - such a relief. The hot tub was a highlightand the garden is ideal for kids to play. The place is super well-equipped, everything we needed was there. A car is a must, but it’s only a short drive to local sights. Cheers for a lovely stay!

Come rain or shine this place is perfect for families and children can really let of steam while adults have some time to relax. The site has several large and safe areas for fun and games, a stunning Adventure Castle with slides and ball pools and a range of small fairground rides. There are also educational shows to see including Milking Show and the twice daily Bottle Feeding Show.
Mendip Outdoor Pursuits - BS40 7UF

Mendip Outdoor Pursuits is the perfect place for an action packed day of fun and is recommended for families with children aged 8 and over. The fantastic setting could hardly be better far activities such as Abseiling, Archery, Climbing, Caverning and Canoeing. The site also has a fantastic assault course. The site is packed with marine life from all over the world and has an amazing Underwater tunnel where visitors can view Sharks and Sting Rays There are also several open top displays  allowing closer inspection of the elegant Rays as well as other creatures. Special events take place throughout the year in high season including talks and crafting sessions.

Brean Leisure Park in Somerset is the place to head for family fun. The site has over 130 rides and attractions with something for all ages and abilities. Adults and children alike will love the more traditional fairground rides which include waltzes, roller coasters and of course dodgems! Older kids and teenagers on the hunt for white knuckle attractions can try out the terrifying 'XTreme' ride - 130ft of exciting twists turns and drops. For younger children the Canoe River is one of the most popular rides and the whole family can team up to enjoy the Laser Quest. Other facilities at the park include a Snack Bar serving tasty food to go, a Restaurant for a relaxing sit down dinner and an Amusement Arcade with slot machines and video games.

The Blue Reef Aquarium and IMAX 3D Cinema is located in Bristol and makes a great fun family day out.  The newest attraction in the region it's an experience not to be missed.  More than 7000 animals are resident in naturally themed habitats and you can enjoy wandering around looking at the 40 displays. Highlights include the giant octopus and the cute seahorses. The IMAX 3D cinema system is fantastic - you will feel like you are swimming along with the animals.

This wonderful attraction in Gloucestershire will appeal to animal lovers as you will have the chance to see the fantastic work going on and meet the rescued horses, ponies and donkeys.  This place is funded entirely through public donations and they rely on these vital funds.  Kids will love the play barn and straw den where they can run off some energy.  New for 2010 is the Aerial Runway with Jungle Climber.

Longleat Safari and Adventure Park - BA12 7NW

You may have seen this amazing attraction on the BBC1 Animal Park programme.  This is actually the first safari park outside of Africa where you can get close to the animals from the comfort of your own car. Some of the highlights include the zebras, the wallabies in wallaby wood and the sea lion escorted cruise to Gorilla Island.  And of course the magnificent lions and tigers are a must see.  This really is an animal experience with a difference and you can save money by booking your tickets online.  This attraction is open until the end of October. Rhondda Heritage Park - CF37 2NP

Rhondda Heritage Park is located at the former Lewis Merthyr Colliery and is a popular attraction with a range of facilities including a visitor centre, an art gallery, a gift shop, and a lovely period re-constructed Village Street.  Fully guided tours are available and include multimedia presentations as well as a unique trip underground where visitors will experience the life of a coal miner. The site also boasts a children's play area and an underground experience zone.
