White Croft Barn Reviews

Lisa
The cottage was lovely, with breathtaking views that made our stay special. It’s in a great spot for all the activities we plannedand the kids loved the hot tub! The place was well stockedand the owners couldn’t have been nicer or more helpful at any point.
Emma
We stayed at this lovely cottage and it was perfect for exploring Somerset. The location is great, not too far from local attractionsand the place itself was spotlessly clean with everything we needed. The added luxuries, like the log burner, pooland hot tub, made it really special. Wi-Fi was strong all around, which was handy. We also loved the welcome touches-flowers, wineand milk. The history of the cottage and renovation photos showed how much care went into making our stay relaxing. Would definitely return!
Emma
We really enjoyed our stay! It felt just like being at home with all the essentials. The views were stunningand my teenage boys adored the pool and hot tub. No gym needed with those steep stairs. We’d definitely return!
Emma
We stayed at this charming cottage in Banwell and loved most of it. The place is really well equippedand we appreciated the lovely welcome goodies when we arrived. The pool was fantastic, especially with the great weather we had all weekand there were plenty of floats and garden toys to enjoy. The hot tub was nice, but way too hot for us in the heatwave. The hosts were friendly, but kept to themselves, which was fine. Just a heads up, the location is quite steep, with lots of steps outside and inside - not ideal if you have mobility issues or small kids. Still, we had a great stay!
Laura
We really enjoyed our stay here. The location is right next to a busy main road, but honestly, it didn’t bother us much. The access via a quiet side street through a lovely wooded area was charming. Parking is available at the top of the drive and near the barn, though the steep slope made it tricky with our big car - we ended up parking at the bottom and reversing in. There are some steep steps, so not ideal if you’re not mobile. Overall, we had a great time, especially using the hot tub and pool. Thanks a lot!
Emma
Cozy cottage with all essentials, friendly owners made our stay special.
Emma
We really enjoyed our stay at White Croft Barn. The location is perfect for exploring Cheddar Gorge and Weston super Mare, plus coming back to the hot tub was a real treat. The quirky layout adds charmand it had all we needed as a family of four. The driveway is a bit steep but doable, though walking into the village is tricky without pavement. The hosts were super friendly too!
Emma
We loved staying at this lovely cottage set in such stunning scenery. Richard and Carol were super friendly and made us feel right at home, especially with the nice touch of wine and milk when we arrived. The steep drive and steps didn’t bother us at alland the hot tub under the stars was such a treat-definitely a highlight of the trip!
Emily
White Croft Barn was perfect for our weekend escape. The hosts were friendly, the place charmingand it was just the right level of relaxing. Loved it!
Sam
We had a fantastic time staying here! The house was really cosy, especially with the log fire and hot tub, which made our winter break extra special. The location is spot on, close to Weston-super-Mare, Cheddar Gorgeand Puxton Park, so exploring was easy. The hosts clearly put a lot of thought into making sure we had everything we needed. We genuinely enjoyed our week and would definitely recommend it. Thanks a lot!
Emma
We had such a lovely stay! The owners, who live nearby, were super friendly and welcoming. The cottage was spotless and cosy, though those steep steps made getting in a bit tricky. The surrounding countryside is absolutely gorgeousand Wells Cathedral is a must-see. We couldn’t get the Wi-Fi to work, but honestly, it was nice to disconnect for a bit. Highly recommend!
Emma
Great hosts, cosy placeand that hot tub really makes it special!
Emma
Really nice place, the hosts were super friendly and helpful. Perfect for a peaceful weekend!
Jamie
We really enjoyed our stay at the cottage; it’s a charming place with a great central spot for exploring nearby attractions. The hot tub was definitely a highlight, we made good use of it every night. The owners are lovely and make you feel right at home, which adds to the cosy vibe. The only thing that put us off slightly was the location right next to a busy A road - it was noisy quite a lot. Also, the driveway is super steep and long, so just a heads up if you’re bringing a car. Overall, a lovely place!
Emma
The property was charming and had all we needed, but the bathroom was tiny and stairs quite narrow.
Emma Clarke
We absolutely loved this place! The cottage had such charm and was well-equipped with everything we needed - from a lovely view, hot tuband pool to comfy beds and a cosy log burner. The garden and outdoor areas were perfect for relaxingand the owners were friendly without being overbearing. Definitely a fantastic stay!
Tom
This cottage is a little gem! It's in a great location for exploring, with everything you could possibly need. Just a short drive to Cheddar Gorge and Wells, which has a beautiful cathedral and a lovely town to check out. The cottage feels really homely and is well equipped for your stay. Our girls absolutely loved the hot tub and plunge pool, such a great added bonus. Richard and Carol made us feel so welcome and really went out of their way to make our stay enjoyable.
Raj
Overall we had a great holiday. The cottage was well equipped and cosy. Our host was really helpful and welcoming. A Christmas tree and a few treats for the kids were a lovely bonus and we definitely appreciated the wine. Just be careful driving down the steep slope and pay extra attention on the steps which can be very slippery. We'll definitely recommend it and visit again!
Emma
The property is fantastic in such a cute Somerset village. The spa and pool are lovely and in a beautiful setting. The cottage has the most well equipped kitchen. We cooked every day and there wasn't anything the kitchen was short of. The hosts are lovely. They met us on arrival but then gave you lots of privacy. It's only a 5 minute walk into the village to the store, pub or bus stop to Weston Super Mare or opposite way to Cheddar. We loved our stay and even plan to come back in the winter months!
Lisa
We thought the place was nice, cleanand well equipped. It’s perfect for 2 adults and a few small kids. The second bedroom felt a bit cramped with low ceilings for our grown-up children. The location is great with loads to do nearby. Just a heads-up, the drive is really steep (thank goodness we had a land rover) and there are lots of steps around the property, so it might not be the best for folks with limited mobility. The hosts were super helpful but didn’t intrude. The beautiful gardens and views, plus the hot tub and pool, were definite highlights of our stay!
