Really enjoyed our stay , the garden does have a gate so that means dogs and children can be safely let out onto the patio. Property was clean and the caretaker was lovely and helpful pointing me in the right direction for a nice dog walk ( that wasn't muddy) .Don't think we lacked for anything the cottage was well equipped .

A superb property - peaceful, spacious, with great views and just a stroll down the lane to the village and marina. We were fortunate to have hot weather and made good use of the private garden, hot tub, BBQ and seating area - the bi-folding doors bring the outside in. Comfortable, clean with all mod cons and friendly caretakers who do a great job to make sure you have all you need. The daily steam train is a real treat and Wednesday market day worth a visit. We found this to be an absolutely first class home away from home for our Christmas holiday. Finding a fully decorated tree was a real treat. The property is in an excellent position with stunning sea views and only a short walk into town. The kitchen was beautifully equipped and the two ovens were a real bonus for preparing Christmas dinner. The l ounge was cosy and comfortable as were the bedrooms. There was plenty of storage in all parts of the house. We would most definitely recommend.

Highgrove is a sociable house in which to rest, relax and recuperate. Hot tub definite hit. The house can get hot as the sun is on the back of the property for much of the afternoon so before you go out for the day pull all the curtains and blinds closed and that keeps the house cooler for when you return. We had no problems with the property and w e very much enjoyed our stay and found both the owners and the housekeepers very helpful and informative.

This is a fabulous property. Everything you need for a great break has been thought of. The cleanliness, appliances and decor were all to a super standard. The hot tub is wonderful, and all these things combined made for a really relaxing break. Utility room is well equipped with most your needs catered for. TV lounge is also a nice social area.
