Glowty Brynbedw Reviews

The accommodation was lovely. Clean and had everything we needed. The enclosed garden was brilliant for our two dogs. The sunsets from the balcony were breathtaking. Location was great for local beaches. Half hour away from poppit sands, aberporth Saundersfoot and Tenby. The only thing worth mentioning was the road traffic could be off putting for some. We were ok with it. some of the big lorries driving past fast did sound like trains but like i said it didn't bother us but could be bothersome for some. The owner did pop by to check we were ok which was nice. Also left us a a couple of ciders, Welsh cakes and eggs and milk. There was a supply of tea, sugar coffee and cleaning products too. In fact was probably the best stocked self catering rental we have stayed at. Would stay again!
Such a beautiful property. It had everything we needed and more! The location is stunning, and the property exceeded expectations.
This place is absolutely fab. Spacious, clean, comfortable and with views to die for. The garden was very secure for our very inquisitive little dog, and the hot tub was a wonderful treat every evening.

We have just returned home after 10 days at Glowty Brynbedw celebrating our 2nd Wedding Anniversary and we loved our time there. We loved the cottage, it was cozy and had everything we needed. The weather wasnt on our side for most of our trip but that meant we could just spend time relaxing with the dog. When the weather cleared up we got to explore the coast which was stunning! We did also get treated to a special show of the Aurora Borealis durning our stay which was amazing! The hot tub was an added bonus that we loved and our Dog Star absolutely loved the big enclosed garden and getting to run wild around the fields at the back. The owners were so accommodating and friendly. Pam even came round to introduce herself one morning which was a lovely added personal touch. We had a great time and cant wait to be back one day!
Katherine
This is the best cottage we've ever stayed in! ! Such a lovely relaxing holiday with everything we needed and perfect for our two dogs, especially the additional usage of the fields behind. Pam the owner was very helpful and the cottage was spotlessly clean. We loved the layout, the garden and hot tub, the balcony and the little things like the handy utility room, outdoor shower and underfloor heating. We didn't want to leave and would highly recommend! The location is great for exploring the beautiful area.
Tracey
Well what an amazing holiday weve just had. So many places and beaches to visit. Such a central place to get from. Cottage you couldnt ask for more. The whole place was amazing. Hot tub was fab specially with the weather we had. And the evening entertaiment of the tractors cutting and picking up the grass in the fields was a bonus. Lovely to meet Pam and Russell and thanks for the cider and Welsh cakes. Hubble scoffed those!! Our four legged loved it to
Rachel
Loved our stay here so much we didn't want to leave. Spotlessly clean and really nice and warm. The garden was really secure for our terrier and use of the fields was a bonus. The hot tub was a perfect way to relax. The only little niggle was the shower in main bathroom lost temperature so we just used the other. All in all brilliant stay and we would love to return.
Absolutely amazing stay. We loved the barn conversion from the minute that we pulled up. The garden is fully secure which was amazing for our pug, not that he wonders far. The layout and decor were beautiful and we loved having a drink on the balcony and watching the red kites. We also had so much fun when the tractors came to harvest the field ,it was like Clarksons farm live ! Location was brilliant for visiting Pembrokeshire and even though it is next to a 40 road, honestly we slept like babies. We would absolutely love to stay again. Ooh and the EV charger was brilliant as well.
The cottage was a fabulous place to stay. Spotlessly clean, Comfortable, well maintained. Kitchen had everything you would need and more. With 2 adults, 2 children and 2 dogs there was plenty of space. Children and dogs had an amazing time exploring the nearby fields. Will definately return for future stays.
Andrea
Beautiful barn and the photos do not do it justice. Vary spacious and lovely garden area. Fully enclosed and safe for dogs and children. By far the best holiday let we have stayed in. The balcony is a bonus and the views are stunning. One minor point is the glass is very dirty with green moss? We did try to clean it ourselves but as it is high up not totally successful. Pity to obscure the wonderful views. If not for this I would give it 5 stars for everything. We enjoyed the hot tub and was impressed there was a hot and cold shower to use before entering the tub. We also made full use of the barbecue. A perfect holiday home for everyone and the road noise did not bother us at all.
Joanna
A beautiful property and the owners were very attentive!
Natalie
Wonderful property, finished to the highest specification, with every amenity you would need and more! The owner Pam was very accommodating to us providing a lovely cot, high chair and even a basket of toys for our baby! Such a spacious and incredibly clean property as well an amazing garden with fantastic views perfect for if you are staying with a dog. Hot tub was amazing, even in the rain! Underfloor heating throughout and a cosy log burner which was very welcomed after wet dog walks! 30 minutes from Tenby, 15 minutes from Narberth which has lots of lovely independent shops and cafes definitely worth a visit. Spar 3 minutes drive away which was really well stocked and has everything you need! Highly recommend this property for exploring Pembrokeshire.
The property itself was fantastic. Spacious and facilities were all clean and we all throughly enjoyed the hot tub. Beds were comfortable and lovely and warm building. We had 4 adults and a baby and had amble space but as usual, spent time in the kitchen around the island chatting. The weather wasnt great on our trip but the garden is large and had a great bbq area. Outside shower is brilliant and hot for showering before and after hot tub dips! Only critical point is that unfortunately the road can be loud when large tractors haulage comes past, especially in the master bedroom at night. This didnt bother us but was not mentioned in property description. Of course we are aware this cannot be changed and is no reflection on the amazing owners.
Hannah
A beautiful property and lovely, friendly owners. We wouldn't hesitate to return there or to recommend it to others.
We had the most incredible weekend in this beautiful home. Everywhere was clean and just overall beautiful. We will definitely be revisiting, anybody whos looking for a lovely weekend away we would 100 recommend this beautiful home. The owners are also extremely lovely and very accommodating!
Stuart
This place is absolutely brilliant. Pictures & description dont do it justice. Everything is top class . Our dog loved it as much as we did I think. Well defo be coming back
Property was amazing, exactly as the pictures and lovely finishes inside. The views from the balcony were breath taking as we sat and watched an abundance of Red Kites playingfighting and hunting daily amongst other wildlife. The grassed field was perfect for our two dogs to go play in and no danger of them escaping onto the nearby road. The road was a little loud but I have lived near main roads all my life so could easily block out the sound. The fire is lovely to sit round in the kitchen but could do with a proper relaxing sofa down there instead of the two chairs, I think we wouldnt have left the kitchen if that was the case as the bifolding doors would have been nice to have open whilst sat. The hot tub is a nice touch too, we have one at home so dont use it as much as others would but still had a dip on the last day. Bed were comfy and underfloor heating absolute perfect for on a night as kept the place snug and warm. Would definitely book again and cant recommend enough.
The property was lovely. It had everything you could need and more. The hot tub was very nice. The owners were extremely helpful when we asked for extra logs and could have been more welcoming with local cider and Welsh cakes on arrival!
Would of liked somewhere to hang our coats in the entrance Great place , great ... Would of liked somewhere to hang our coats in the entrance Great place , great location , one of the cleanest place we've stayed in
We had a wonderful stay, the cottage has great facilities. We loved the underfloor heating and so did our baby who enjoyed the warm floors and the hot tub. The owners went above and beyond for us to make our trip as easy as possible with a small baby and a toddler, purchasing a cot so that we didn't have to bring one with us and providing a high chair and toys unexpected but much appreciated. We couldn't fault it and would love to return
Steven
Loved staying at Glowty. We got the wow factor as we walked into the property. Lots of space for the kids to move around and explore. Property well kitted out and really clean. The pictures don't do the property justice roomspace alot bigger. Hot tub perfect and the views from the balcony are great to wake up too.
Sylvia
This was our 3rd visit to this barn conversion, and as always it did not disappoint. The owners Pam and Russell are really friendly and welcoming. It is a stunning property and the grounds are perfect if you have a dog as it is fully enclosed. It is first class accommodation and definately a 5 star. So if you are looking for luxury look no further.
Beautiful cottage, lovely owners, ideal for us as both dogs could roam around the garden and the fields opposite and they were safe its completely closed off. Everything in the cottage is amazing, fantastic hot tub,and lovely welcome pack waiting for us. Can't recommend enough to anyone who wants a peaceful stay in a beautiful part of the world, good location for exploring west Wales
First class location and first class property will stay again
The property was lovely, we really enjoyed our stay. a little closer to the road than we expected but this did not worry us at all. The house had everything we needed and we had the most perfect weather, we could not have asked for much more. Our only suggestion would be if the beds were replaced in the second bedroom to ensure a more comfortable stay. Everything else was absolutely amazing! Thank you.
Absolutely stunning views, beautiful decorated property, just missing a outdoor ... Absolutely stunning views, beautiful decorated property, just missing a outdoor washing line Thank you for a wonderful holiday
Glowty Brynbedw is a fabulous property, with everything provided that we needed. The owner was so nice and welcoming, but respected our privacy. It was great watching the sheep in the fields at the back from the upstairs lounge balcony. Our dog was so happy running about in the enclosed garden, chasing her ball. Our 2 issues were the lounge was very hot and bright and some form of blind would have been helpful, as it was impossible to watch TV until it went dark, and also because of the location, we had to drive 3545 mins to get anywhere of interest ie beaches, towns, castles. Overall though we did have a wonderful holiday, and it was a super property.
Absolutely fantastic property everything you need plus a gorgeous hot tub very ... Absolutely fantastic property everything you need plus a gorgeous hot tub very nice to meet the owner on arrival one of the best yet
We loved our stay here the property is so well equipped and beautifully designed. The garden is large and enclosed, safe for dogs. Lovely hot tub. We didn't go far as the weather wasn't great but we didn't mind as we got to spend more time indoors in total relaxation. Narberth about a 10 minutes drive, if that. Beautiful views from the balcony where I enjoyed a few glasses of wine. All smart TVs so was great to log in to prime Netflix. It is in the main road, but we knew that and it didn't bother us at all! Hosts lovely really responsive, down the road, but respect your privacy. Just loved it. Thank you for our stay .
Amazing property and great hosts.
Great weekend away the place has been done very well
Lovely Barn conversion, very clean and tidy. Beds really comfortable. Garden good for dog very secure and the field behind great for zoomies. There wasn't much in the way of instructions about the appliances but luckily they were similar to our own so no problem using them. Main downside for us was the fact that the Barn is right on a very busy road with traffic noise from 06.0009.00 am every morning which we found a bit difficult.
My partner, 3 year old, dog and I had a wonderful stay at this gorgeous property. The only issues we encountered was the WiFi didn't always work but we didn't book this holiday to use the internet, so wasn't a problem for us. There were clear instructions as to how everything worked and Pam was very responsive, helpful and friendly. The property is modern, spacious and clean, lovely views with a private enclosed garden. It was the perfect base for exploring South Wales, lots of places to visit, go on walks and good food establishments all near by. We would highly recommend.
Pamela
This is a lovely property, well equipped and in a good location, but due to the weather we did not venture far, nor take full advantage of the hot tub! The garden is secure for dogs as the road is very busy and the fields behind the property for our dogs was definitely a bonus. The welcome pack was well received and nothing was too much trouble for Pam.
The cottage was lovely very well laid out, plenty of space and equipment needed for your stay. Russell and Pam are great hosts nothing to much trouble even down to gritting during are icy spell in wales. We enjoyed are stay.
Absolutely beautiful property very high spec with all amenities you could need. The owners are lovely and nothing is too much trouble. Russel the owner even improved the perimeter fence to stop our puppy escaping Would highly recommend for a romantic or family stay or to explore the outstandingly gorgeous area all around the Pembroke coast.
Really lovely barn conversion, super high spec. Everything there that you need for a lovely weeks stay, really well kitted out. Great addition of the hot tub also! Great hosts who go out their way to ensure you have everything that you need. Communication was brilliant. Can't wait to come back!
Samantha
Beautiful barn conversion at such a high spec! We thoroughly enjoyed. Great destination
