Frondeg was perfect for our party of 12 adults as family and friends celebrated a milestone birthday. The smaller rooms were a bit of a squeeze but there is plenty of social space and the huge communal kitchen area were great. Facilities were excellent for an active holiday and the house is really well situated for exploring the many local amenitieRead mores and shops on foot. The parking spaces on the drive are a real bonus. Difficult to fault this as a base for an area we love. Highly recommended. Hide

Lovely house. Spacious and well equipped. We were a large party of adults and we all loved it! Rainy winter stay, so we didnt use outside, but terrace would be fantastic in warmer weather.
Catherine
Beautiful and homely house! Absolutely stunning views from the garden and hot tub - only wish we'd had slightly better weather to enjoy it but the rain didn't spoil our visit! Alan was so helpful recommending us where to get the best fish & chips and logs for the hot tub!
Alexandra
We have just returned from a wonderful week at Frondeg. The house was spacious and had everything you would need for a large family holiday. The hot tub was a lovely addition and we enjoyed watching the stars from the tub most evenings. You need quite a bit of wood to get the water hot, but there is a lovely shop a couple of minutes walk away whichRead more sells the logs. Thank you for letting us stay - we shall be back! Hide
Moira
This is a beautiful, very well equipped house in a great location. Spacious shared living areas inside and out, to relax together. Hot tub fun with wonderful views across estuary. Three light, roomy double bedrooms with plenty of storage; two twin bedrooms and one with bunk beds with single, ideal for children; useful pull out storage under single bed. We had a wonderful week with three generations of family celebrating a big birthday!
Elizabeth

John
Excellent family accommodation.
Charlotte
It was a wonderful property in a great location. There were a few issues with cleanliness, but the management contact was very helpful if we had any queries, and even dropped off some logs for the hot tub. The rooms and living areas were spotless and beautiful. Such a great view from the garden and front terrace.
Helen

Absolutely beautiful house in the most incredible location - We have strong links to the village and decided to get married in aberdovey and wanted somewhere to gather with family afterwards. Frondeg was the perfect place for spending time with family leading up too, during and after the wedding and will always have a very special place in our hear ts from now on. The house is modern, clean & a wonderful space for entertaining & the views are just breathtaking - Do not hesitate to book !

Lovely house for extended family, Love the outdoor space Perfect location for beach. Grandchildren enjoyed the piano!!
Christine
Most amazing house with fabulous views over the estuary. Plenty of areas for socialising both inside & out. Would not recommend for anyone with mobility issues as there are lots of steps up to the house and the tiered garden to the rear ! Having said that we did manage to get my 88 year old mother up to the hot tub decking area ! Would definitely r ecommend for a group of friends or two families and we are already planning our next visit.
Jonathan
Absolutely cracking house with terrific accommodation. Lots of space for all our party. Located really well in relation to centre of Aberdyfi and beach. Ample private parking and outside space for all the guests. Privacy in outdoor areas due to configuration of house/garden. Sunsets and views over the estuary from the top deck area will be a fond m emory. Would book Frondeg again.
Julia
On the plus side fab setting and facilities, the piano was a lovely surprise and kitchen facilities were excellent. The sitting rooms were comfortable with great views. The beds were very comfortable and everywhere was decorated to a high standard. Less than 5 minutes walk to the sea front. Great off road parking. The split level garden was stunnin g especially from the top level with great views out to sea. Hot tub was good but does take hours to heat. Worth it as stayed warm for hours.
Alex
A lovely property and perfect for a family or group get together. Tastefully decorated and furnished and well located for the shops and the beach.
Karen
Beautiful house with plenty of space great location from the beach, loved enjoying the sunshine on the patio.
Eleanor
An amazing place to stay for a long weekend. We had 12 adults there and there was plenty of space. Only a short walk down to the town which had some lovely coffee shops (that were open even out of season). The house was well equipped with kitchen equipment and towels etc. The hot tub was great to use but took a good 5 hours to heat up with lots of logs - a proper afternoon job! - but very satisfying once done Overall an excellent spot of a long weekend!
Nicola
This is really a home from home. It has absolutely everything you could need. Fully kitted out for all age ranges. Did not want to leave!
