We had a fantastic stay! The place was spotless and super comfy, with a well-equipped kitchen that had everything we needed. There’s plenty of space to unwind, whether in the dining area or just relaxing quietly elsewhere. The hot tub was a real treat after a day exploringand the play area for kids looked great-though we didn’t use it. The games room was impressive, packed with bats, ballsand more. Dark skies and rural surroundings made for perfect stargazing. About 6 miles from Brecon, plenty of pubs nearby for meals. We’d definitely come back!
James
We stayed in the Upper Bull Penand honestly, it was fantastic. The cottage was spotless and super comfy, with everything we needed already there. Unlike some places, everything worked perfectly - hot water was instant and plentiful, which was a bonus! The location is so peaceful, no light pollutionand they even provide a telescope for stargazing. Helen really cares about the place and does a brilliant job looking after us. Would definitely recommend for a quiet getaway!
Emma

Wow, what a lovely stay! The cottage was absolutely charming, nestled in such a peaceful part of the countryside. We loved the cosy log burner and the hot tub - perfect after a day exploring. The beds were super comfyand having the EV charger was a real lifesaver. We didn’t do much walking, just a quick trip into Brecon, but the surrounding lanes are quite scenic. We’d definitely come back!

We had an amazing stay here! The cottage is beautifully decorated with top-quality furniture and well-equipped kitchen stuff. The beds were super comfyand the bathrooms were lovely. It’s so peaceful and quiet, perfect for relaxing. We appreciated the thoughtful welcome pack - wine, Welshcakes, crispsand milk - such a lovely touch. The TV has Netflix and Amazon Prime, so we weren’t bored. Can’t wait to come back in summer and sit outside on the decking, soaking in the view. Just 20 mins to Brecon too!

This is the second time we have stayed at Upper Bull Pen. It's well equipped and comfortable accommodation in a beautiful setting. We were really grateful for the log burner last November and a soak in the hot tub has been very welcome this year after a day's walking. The outdoor area takes full advantage of the views. There are loads of walking paths nearby and interesting towns like Brecon and Crickhowell to explore.
Ryan
We had an absolutely sensational weekend here, loads of space and everything we needed. It was a bit of a drive from our place but totally worth itand Helen was super helpful too. We can't praise her or the place enough! Can't give more than 5 stars but it was simply fantastic! Would definitely recommend and hope to return in the future!
Emily

Chloe
What a lovely getaway this is! It's the perfect escape from the hustle and bustle of everyday life. You really feel like you are surrounded by beautiful greenery, completely away from it all. It's just great for chilling out and enjoying that much-needed break.
Priya
What a beautiful cottage! We had such a lovely stay here, it was everything we hoped for!
Fiona
This property is just gorgeous and set in a stunning location, though it was a bit too remote for us. The attention to detail from the owners is fantastic and having that hot tub was a lovely treat after our long walks each day!
