Lovely cottage which was fabulous for the dogs.....safe enclosed garden plus a large fully secure field for them to have a good run. Cottage was as described and large enough for our to pointers. The directions were spot on. The pre arrival txt by Julia helped plan and feel help or advice or just a welcome face was always available but never intrusive. We really enjoyed our time at Tack Bothy, and so did our dogs. It was great for them to have secure space to run around in, in both the garden and the field. The area is beautiful and we enjoyed walks around the lanes as well as across the stream to Wales for the nearest shop and pub. Any potential visitors should be aware of the size of the bothy - we were fine with 2 small dogs, but larger ones would have been difficult. Hide

Beautiful location, extremely isolated apart from cottage next door, but not overlooked at all. It is very ' snug ' , think large camper van , but it is perfectly adequate for 2. The owner is very welcoming and I felt we could have asked for anything if we felt it was needed. Great for dogs, with their own secure field on site. Bring a blanket or sRead moreoft bed , there is certainly no room for a crate. Very small fridge that would not take a 4 pint bottle, but there is an overflow freezer and fridge Hide

Quaint is how I would describe. One room that has a bed, kitchen area and small table for eating. Separate bathroom. Electric table top hob , microwave and small fridge. Extra space available in fridge freeze in the pump house.outside a small patio with hot tub. Large garden round along side a stream. Beautiful scenery. Extra bonus is the enclosure across from your accommodation, set up do you can excise your dog safely. Hostess Caroline explained everything and was really helpful.
Sharon

What a lovely little place Caroline and Dave couldnt have been more welcoming as hosts. Caroline gave us a friendly welcome and some really great tips throughout our stay. The place has everything you need plus some really great walks around the local area. Our dog loved the fenced garden and the hot tub was a big positive for us. The remote locati on gave us the freedom and relaxation that we were after. We will definitely be back!
Sabrina
We had a fantastic time, from the moment we got there the hosts were delightful! The hot tub was lovely and the dog proof area was perfect for our dog to let off some steam! The decor was perfect for the size of the cabin and the bed super comfy, great to get into after a day in the countryside.
Nicky
Absolutely amazing! Great hosts and the location is beautiful. We will definitely be back!
Michael
Great, dog-friendly mini break. Bothy was very cosy and easy to keep warm in the colder months. Make sure you bring a torch as it is very dark. Could see the milky way from the hot tub one night! Can comfortably let the dog roam in the garden and there is also a dog exercise field you can use. Caroline was a friendly, welcoming host who I'm sure wo uld accommodate any request you might have. 10/10

This place was incredible! And the little extra touches were much appreciated. Perfect get away with dogs! Nothing was too much trouble, anyone looking to book should not hesitate, just bare in mind that this is the sort of place that you wouldn't leave for your stay or be prepared to drive
Rachael
Absolutely fantastic. Caroline and Jenny are fantastic hosts. The bothy was small but perfect, they thought of everything (and the bottle of prosecco was a lovely touch!). Amazing views and walks and it really helped for a mental health reset. I think the dog loved it more than we did! I can't thank the owners enough.
Linda
Perfect in every way , we couldnt have asked for more .
Elaine
We enjoyed our stay at Tach Bothy, especially our Rottie Hades who loved the secure garden and field to have a run in, and the comfy bed he slept in, this was our only downside as we hadn't factored in that two large adults (me with some physical limitations) and our 40kg Rottie may not encourage a good sleep in such a cute small place! Always lear ning and that was my mistake. Hot tub was amazing, view incredible. Excellent advice to shop before arriving and lovely welcome, great place to stay!
Adrian
Great stay and was made to feel very welcome. We will be back again ! Beautiful place !!
Claire-Louise
We had a lovely stay here, accommodation was cosy and comfy. The hot tub was perfectly positioned to watch the sun set and had privacy from the cottage next door. A bottle of prosecco and milk was a lovely touch on arrival. There were games, DVDs and books that could be borrowed for a lazy day along with an information folder with a couple of local walks and sites to go and visit. The owner was lovely and very accommodating. We would definitely recommend staying here.
Stephanie
The cottage was lovely and comfortable and the views spectacular. Highly recommend this cottage. The hot tub was amazing and the walks nearby.
