Crickton Farm Cottage Reviews

James
Great spot, close to beautiful beaches and a lively pub just down the road.
Emma
We loved staying at this cosy cottage, it’s ideally placed for exploring the Gower’s stunning beaches, all just a quick drive away. The village has some dog-friendly pubs, which was great for us and our pup. Claire and her family were super friendly, gave us some great tipsand always had time for a chat. The welcome pack was a lovely touchand the hot tub was the cherry on top of a fantastic stay!
James
The cottage was lovelyand Claire and Emma truly made us feel welcome.
Lisa
Really enjoyed staying here, perfect spot with charming pubs nearby, will come back soon!
Emma
We loved the cosy cottage! Perfectly situated for exploring the Gower’s stunning beaches and scenic spots. The enclosed garden was ideal for our dogand the hot tub was a lovely touch after busy days. Shops and a good pub nearby made it a really convenient stay. Definitely coming back!
Emma
We loved the cottage’s charming decor and the spotless, well-stocked interior. The garden was perfect for relaxingand the hot tub was a real treat. The welcome gifts were a lovely touch. Sadly, our dog wasn’t well, so we had to cut our stay short!
Rachel
We had a really lovely time at this place! The location is just stunning, perfect for exploring the Gower. The beaches and scenery are absolutely breathtakingand everything's just a short drive away. The hosts were warm and friendly, making us feel right at home. The welcome pack was a thoughtful touchand the hot tub was definitely the highlight - such a relaxing way to end the day. We’d happily come back!
Emma
This cottage was lovely, with everything we could think of already sorted. It really went beyond what we hoped forand the location was perfect for exploring the peninsula easily.
Emma
We stayed in September and loved exploring the stunning Gower area. It’s perfect if you enjoy long walks and cosy pub meals. The cottage itself was decent enough for relaxing evenings, but if you're planning to stay indoors, bring some entertainment because the hot tub and TV options don’t last long. The location is a bit rough around the edges, being on a livery yardand the large shed near the hot tub can spoil the view a bit. Still, the enclosed garden was a nice touchand we really enjoyed our time overall!
Emma
Charming place, loved the animals nearby, really made it special!
Linda
What a cosy little cottage! It had everything we needed for a lovely stay. The owners were so welcoming and helpful before, duringand even after our stay, especially when we had that car key issue! There were some lovely welcoming treats around the house too; we really appreciated the wine and Welsh cakes. There are loads of great places to visit and amazing spots to eat, especially the local fish and chips and that ice cream parlour. Thanks for a wonderful time—we would definitely recommend it!
Daniel
Claire, the owner, is super helpful and really friendly! It’s a great spot to use as a base for exploring the Gower. After a long day out, the hot tub is just lovelyand we appreciated the few nice little complimentary items included in the cottage!
Oliver
Lovely and quiet, which was just what we wanted to escape from any fireworks because the dog absolutely hates them. It's a shame the owners have decided not to allow dogs in the future, so we won't be able to come back to this place. The food at the village pub was fantastic. It took us only 15-20 minutes max to drive to all the spots on the Gower we wanted to visit. There are some fantastic beaches to walk the dog. Plus, the hot tub was a bonus afterwards! Would definitely recommend.
Oliver
We really didn't lack for anything! This hot tub is great value for money and feels like a little slice of luxury.
James
A lovely, comfortable cottage in a great location for touring the Gower. Everyone involved and around the cottage is so friendly and helpful! The light bulb in the bathroom went and the issue was resolved really quickly with no fuss. Would highly recomend.
Mark
Absolutely spotless and had everything we needed. Super comfortable and even though it's just one bedroom, it's really spacious. Claire was incredibly welcoming and friendlyand we were so grateful for the lovely welcome tray. The cottage is finished to such a high standard - we would definitely stay again and highly recommend it!
Emily
Just wanted to mention that we had a wonderful time and it was a really fascinating place to stay with all those horses around!
Martin
We just had our first holiday with our dog and it was lovely! The garden was fenced, which gave us peace of mind. The cottage was really comfortable with great heating. The location was perfect for visiting the beachesand it was always nice to come back to a cosy place each evening. Plus, we were greeted by three friendly sheep dogs and some horses every time!
Emily
What a lovely little cottage! The hot tub in the garden looked great, but sadly we didn’t get to use it because the weather was too bad. Overall, we had a nice stay!
Lucy
We had a great time at this place! The host was really helpful and the location is perfect for exploring all the beautiful beaches The Gower has to offer. We loved our walks on Oxwich, Three Cliffs, Rhossili and Whiteford beaches in the glorious sunshine. Just a heads up to check the tide times before setting out. We also enjoyed the stunning views from Arthurs Stone and the Welcome Inn, which is dog friendly and serves good food. The hot tub was excellent too!
