The Five Bells Inn Reviews

18 months of planning a surprise 50th Birthday weekend for my hubby and 21 of his closest friends. It couldnt have gone any better. It was a perfect location to spend a fun filled weekend with his mates , after initially getting over the shock , he was in hes element playing landlord. Plenty to do inside the F1 went down a storm, plus the other games on hand , air hockey, table tennis and pool though it did get quite competitive. Whilst the boys played the girls , enjoyed the outdoors hot tub, sauna and country walks . The place was a lot bigger than expected so plenty of space for everyone. The rooms were comfortable and the kitchen was well equipped we even cooked a Sunday roast for 21!! Some wonderful memories were made during our stay. Thank you Tracey and the team x Definitely recommend
Fantastic property plenty of room and good entertainment with the pool table and table tennis. Tracey was very helpful and on hand when we needed her. No negatives but will mention the water pressure in the annex maybe need a pump fitted . 14 very happy people and will most likely come back some time .
The Five Bells is ideal accommodation for a family gathering. We were celebrating a 60th & 30th birthday & had a fantastic weekend with all the family. The facilities are amazing with so much to keep all age groups occupied. The kids loved the games room & the adults the bar & pool table! The bedrooms are really comfortable & spotlessly clean. We would like to say a special thank you to the housekeeper, Tracey, who welcomed us on our arrival & responded really quickly & helped us when we had any questions or issues. All in all we had a brilliant stay at the Five Bells & will definitely be back for future family celebrations!
Debbie
Absolutely loved our stay all facilities were great and Tracey went above and beyond to welcome and look after us
What a fabulous venue. Highly recommend. Great location, well presented throughout and a very unique venue. Would definitely go back again. The owners must be proud of themselves. Perfect. Thanks again
A great place to stay for a large group. We had 2 people with mobility issues and it was absolutely fine for them. Plenty of space for each person to do their own thing.
The pics dont do it justice. Facilities are amazing and Tracey was there whenever we had any queries. All rooms are really clean and comfy. Would highly recommend and will definitely be back
We enjoyed a fantastic stay here at the wonderful Five Bells pub , celebrating my 60 th birthday. It has fantastic facilities and amenities , everything you could wish for to make it the perfect place to hang out with friends and family. Tracey was very helpful & came out within 30min for any issues we had. We will most definitely be back
Justin
The property was every bit as good as the photos and a great base for celebrating an occasion with family and friends. Communication with the owners was excellent and the property manager was friendly and welcoming upon arrival and departure. She left her contact number for any issues so when we had a lighting circuit that tripped upstairs she was able to get a handyman to the property in double quick time to resolve the issue. Ample space for parking and the property is so large it will never feel crowded with 20 people in it.
Really lovely venue for a large group, loads of space & the service was great too.
Richard
Great holiday booked at extremely short notice due to travel restrictions. The accommodation was great and it was very quirky staying in a pub. Everyone enjoyed it and there was enough in the area to keep us occupied for a week.

National Horse Racing Museum - CB8 8JL
about 25 Miles
This is a museum with a difference and a must see if you are into horse racing.  You can take guided tours around the museum or choose to wander round yourself admiring the exhibits.  New for 2010 is a Junior Fun Tour which is ideal for children.  Simply ask the gallery staff for a Fun Tour pack when you enter the museum and kids can answer questions and spot clues and tips on the way round.  One of the most popular recent exhibitions is the Thoroughbred: State of the Art exhibition in Gallery 5 on until 31st October.  Check out their websites for the latest exhibitions.
Melsop Farm Park - NR20 3DT
about 29 Miles
We love this attraction in Scoulton, Norfolk with a great collection of animals.  Children and adults alike have the chance to get hands on with the animals in the special handling areas.  On rainy days there is always the indoor play area for the little ones and when it's time for a bite to eat the cafe on the farm is open all day selling drinks and snacks.  Hot food is available over lunch times.
