Aditum Cottage Reviews

Rowena
A lovely property . Spacious and very well equipped with excellent outside space for eating and playing. Stuart was very friendly and helpful . Good location for visits to the Wildlife Park and Doddington Hall and local woodland walks alll to be recommended . The coast is not far unfortunately the sea looked very polluted when we were there but the beach is endless and sandy .A welcome break from the city !

Aditum Cottage exceeded expectations in all aspects for our family holiday of 6adults& 2 children. Great outdoors space for grown ups& children. Exceptionally well equipped kitchen for caterering for a large family or gathering. Superbly comfy beds. A plethora of activities attractions in the local area plus handy local shops, pubs& a an excellent butcher's less than 10mins drive away. Holiday cottage owners very helpful but not intrusive. Many Thanks Gill, Mike & family
We had a great stay at Aditum Cottage. It is very comfortable and extremely well equipped. Stuart and Leah were friendly, approachable and helpful. The highlight for the four children in our party was what the outdoors offered. Swings and slides near the house, but a wonderful world of dens and exploration in the 2 acres of woodland surrounding the house. Definitely well worth a visit.

The kitchen was absolutely lovely. Everything in the kitchen that you could possibly need for a family gathering. We only had 3 of us but it was great to have space at the big table. We watched TV in the kitchen. The hot tub was a bonus, we only used on our last night because we were so busy doing things during the day. Loved the quiet area around the house. Great to have 3 WC's. Great for someone who has children too, as child lock on the windows, but nice to open the windows, as my husband sleeps with the window open. It is a lovely area for families to take their children to see animals at sanctuary or farms. We even went to Lincoln 1 day to see the Transport museum buses.
Lovely cottage, easy to locate and get to. Very comfortable living room and bedrooms spacious with good bathroom facilities. Large well equipped kitchen. Lovely hot tub, sheltered ftom rain etc. Stuart and Leah very attentive hosts , suggesting good local pubs, shopping etc were next door if we needed anything. Would definitely recommend this cottage.
Excellent cottage with everything you could possibly need. Great location for exploring the county and coast, with great hosts on hand if you need anything.
Lovely house and very well appointed. One thing that would have been an improvement is to have blackout curtains or blinds in the bedrooms.

A cottage that is home from home with excellent hosts It is one of the best equipped cottages that we have stayed in The woodland area is lovely for the children to explore and they loved both the play frame and the hot tub A lovely holiday and we would love to return
Very cottagy, as was my friend's description! Well it is a cottage? Excellent cottage and very suitable for 4 elderly golfers, and I'm sure would be a wonderful base for families. Very neat, tidy and suitably clean, with all required facilities. Fine hosts who were always available. Even for my pals Amazon delivery. Will highly recommend to others.

Rushmoor Country Park - GU10 1ET
about 13 Miles
Located in Louth in Lincolnshire this is an ideal attraction when you want to get out in the fresh air and explore. There are many animals to see including ponies and piglets which the little ones love.  There are also some amazing birds from hawks and falcons to owls.  Most aspects of this attraction are included in the admission cost and as well as wandering around you get to hold and feed the animals too.  A real highlight are the micro pigs which are just like real pigs but in miniature.  Fully grown they are around the size of a spaniel!  If you get hungry then you can take your own picnic to the picnic areas or head for the tea room selling delicious food and children's meals too.
Pleasure Island - DN35 0PL
about 18 Miles
Wow this is an amazing family theme park and you will probably need the full day to experience it all.  From thrilling rides to family shows, kids of all ages are catered for.  Some of the most popular rides include the Obliterator and The Pendulus, not forgetting the Hypoblaster.   Family shows are entertaining such as the African Acrobat Show which is back by popular demand.  Entrance tickets are good value and if you book online you will receive a discount. To save even more money if you live locally or are visiting the area for a few weeks you could buy a season ticket for around £50 which will allow you entry for the whole season.
The Jungle Zoo - NR31 9EY
about 18 Miles
Centred around a Tropical House in an amazing jungle like setting this is a really unique attraction that will appeal to families.  In the Cleethorpes area of Lincolnshire it's easy to get to and offers a fun yet educational experience.  Referred to as the number one attraction in the area highlights include capuchin monkeys, meerkats, ring tailed lemur and for the children African pygmy goats.  The tropical house features Red Eared and other Terrapins from North America and goldfish amongst other things.  We think The Jungle Zoo represents excellent value for money too.  We recommend a whole day to explore this attraction and ensure you get to see all of the animals resident there.
Natureland Seal Sanctuary - PE25 1DB
about 27 Miles
Awarded the Lincolnshire Family Attraction of the Year award in recent years this fun day out is recommended. You can see seals and penguins, as well as other animals in the popular pets corner.  Feeding time for the seals and penguins is the real highlight of the day. Entertainment, education and conservation are the main aims of this attraction. Natureland's work with abandoned baby seals has become known worldwide and it's carefully researched rearing and treatment program is now used by many other rescue centres.
Normanby Hall Country Park - DN15 9HU
about 28 Miles
Normanby Hall Country Park has a fantastically tranquil location Set in the 300 acres of Normanby Hall estate offering a relaxing choice for a family day out. The stunning grounds are abundant with wildlife as well as beautiful flora and fauna and there is no better place for a summer picnic. There is also plenty of open space for children to run around. The Deer park is sure to be a big hit with the children with herds of fallow deer to spot.
The Deep - HU1 4DP
about 29 Miles
Easily accessible from our Yorkshire Dales lodge parks is The Deep! An award-winning 'submarium', attraction, which is home to over 3500 fish from around the globe. Visitors can a stroll through Europe's deepest viewing tunnel and take a thrilling a glass lift ride through the 10m deep tank. The Deep is also home to the world's largest exhibition, featuring weird animals from the depths combined with slime!
