We spent a wonderful week in forget-me-not cottage in the week following Christmas into New Year with the cottage being perfectly suited for a 3 generational family holiday (with 3 dogs in tow). The property is brilliantly equipped - with pretty much everything thought of - and the bedrooms are a great size. Beds and pillows comfy, great water presRead moresure and overall the house is really well presented. Location is also perfect for exploring North Norfolk. 100% recommended by all the family! Hide

Such a fantastic house that has everything you need for a week away. The kitchen is the best equipped I've seen and the garden and hot tub were a great hit with both the kids and adults! Would thoroughly recommend. Mundesley is a short drive away which has a great beach. Also recommend the Gunton Arms pub for food. All in all a fantastic week

Cottage was very well equipped and very comfortable. Garden furniture was excellent and the kitchen was extremely well equipped. An absolutely comfortable stay and very quiet area. Easy access to lots of places. Pub in village excellent and lovely food
Martin
A superb house that the four of us and the two dogs really enjoyed. Quality equipment throughout - how many holiday homes have a wine cooler? The garden is large and the dogs loved running around it. We only used the hot tub twice but it was glorious. This is a lovely house and we would certainly consider returning as there is so much to do in the area.
Sonia
Lovely rural cottage set in the countryside of South Repps with gorgeous views and a very peaceful setting. We were very lucky as well to see Hares chasing and boxing each other a beautiful sight to see on the hillside out the front. The garden is lovely too and pretty, hot tub a bonus which we loved. Good amenities and good parking. We enjoyed our stay here 3 x families.
Elaine
Beautiful cottage in a great location. The cottage is very well equipped - we managed to cook Christmas dinner for 6. Beds and sofas were very comfortable. The cottage had been beautifully decorated for Christmas which was lovely and made it feel very homely and welcoming. The welcome hamper was a lovely touch and even included treats and a present for our 4 legged family member. Even in December the hot tub was great. Cromer, Norwich and Mundesley are well worth a visit.
Philip
Forget Me Not Cottage is a perfect name for this place, as over the days we were there we created so many happy memories with our family. We were celebrating our Mums / Nanas 80th birthday and we had a fantastic time in a beautiful part of Norfolk. The cottage was spotlessly clean, with comfortable beds and settees, and a kitchen with everything we needed to prepare our meals. The bed linen and towels were luxurious and the hot tub was great too!
Sandra
What a fantastic place to stay! Forget Me Not Cottage was one of the best places I have ever stayed. It was just as advertised but better, so well equipped and so homely. The owner was extremely helpful and quick to respond to enquires. My spaniel who often gets anxious in a new place was so relaxed. The hot tub is a brilliant addition too. We didn t want to leave.
Anne
We have had a lovely holiday in this beautiful property. The house was very well equipped and cleaned to a high standard. Our party was made up of 2 families and 1 set of grandparents, age range from 1 to 75 - it suited us perfectly. The garden is lovely and we were able to enjoy the patio furniture and hot tub due to being incredibly lucky with th e weather. The house had a really homely, cosy feel and there was lots of nice places nearby to explore, Holt being a particular favourite.
Jacqui
Wonderful large cottage in a great location for sightseeing. The grandchildren and dog loved running around in the big back garden and the hot tub was enjoyed by the adults! The cottage suited all our needs and made for a perfect week with all our family. Highly recommend this property.
Cathy
Great cottage. Really well equipped and in a good location. Loved the hot tub and the large, enclosed garden
Sally
We really enjoyed our time at Forget Me Not Cottage. All six adults and four children slept well, ate well and enjoyed using the hot tub...a lot. The Cottage met our needs perfectly and we had no complaints! Good seating outside for our BBQ in the sunshine, but also a large table indoors when it got chilly. It was a good base to visit the beach at Mundesley and we also enjoyed short trips out to Holt, Cromer and Horsey. The Vernon Arms was good for a few drinks on a sunny evening outside.
Sally
A lovely cottage, impeccably clean and finished to a high standard. Everything worked! Garden was excellent with top quality furniture, washing line, well maintained beds and a free and easy feel. Kitchen particularly charming
Sally

Excellent accommodation with everything you need. Facilities in the house and garden were excellent. Beautiful large, enclosed well kept garden. Paved patio with large table parasol and chairs. Garden games provided in out building and of course the hot tub was an added luxury. Bedrooms felt light and airy and decorated to a high standard. All room s had lovely views and beds very comfortable. Kitchen was spacious with plenty of crockery and utensils. A lovely welcome pack for your arrival too
Rachel
Wonderful property, great location, everything we needed was provided. It was a safe space for our two dogs and young granddaughter. Plenty of room for everyone to be together but also good for couples and families to spend time on their own. We were blessed with beautiful weather and the outside space is amazing. Loved the hot tub, most of us took at least one turn. The property is close to the coast and Broads with lots of places to visit / explore. First visit to Norfolk, not our last!
Jane

Attractions Near Forget Me Not Cottage

While there'll be plenty to keep you entertained an Forget Me Not Cottage itself, if you plan to get out and about and see some of what Norfolk has to offer, here are some of the nearby attractions you can enjoy during your stay. Please note that some of these activities and days out are paid and it's always a good idea to book in advance to secure your place where applicable.

Found a special day out near your cottage? Please let us know and we'll add it so that other visitors can enjoy it too!
Sheringham Park - NR26 8TL
about 7 Miles
The National Trust Sheringham Park in Norfolk was designed by Humphry Repton and the book of original designs can still be seen. The park has many attractions including a viewing tower and a gazebo with amazing coastal views, wildlife trails which young children will love and an exhibition barn where visitors can learn the history of the park.
Bewilderwood - NR12 8JW
about 12 Miles
Bewilderwood is a fun day out for the whole family located in the Wroxham area of Norfolk.  This imaginative adventure park has won awards and we think kids especially will love the characters and the magical tree houses. You can even book your ticket online and beat the queues by visiting their website where you can also view video clips of the park. This place is also the setting for the book 'A Boggle at BeWILDerwood', by local children's author Tom Blofeld.  Parents are not left out either as you're encouraged to take part and play alongside your children.
Dinosaur Adventure Park - NR9 5JW
about 14 Miles
This fun family day out has been well planned and we think is certainly worth a visit.  New for 2010 is the PrimEvil at Dinosaur Adventure.  Other fun activities include the Dinosaur Trail, Arachnophobia, the Raptor Races and the adventure play area.  The secret animal garden is also popular.  You can play a role in wildlife conservation and sponsor an animal if you wish.  At the moment if you sign up for their newsletter there is a chance to win a family ticket.
Bishops Boats Seal Trips - NR23 1RY
about 14 Miles
This is a really unique attraction running daily seal watching trips from the middle of March right through to the end of October.  The experienced skippers will lead you out on one of the traditional wooden boats where you will have the chance to see both common and grey seals.  If you love animals then this is one attraction not to be missed! They also do some boat trips combined with guides on dry land such as seal watching combined with a visit to Blakeney Point Nature Reserve, owned by the National Trust.  We think this attraction is excellent value for money as they keep their admission prices low.
Pensthorpe Nature Reserve & Gardens - NR21 0LN
about 18 Miles
if you and your family are interested in nature and wildlife then Pensthorpe Nature Reserve & Gardens is the perfect place for a day out. This beautiful area of national parkland is home to a huge range of common and rare birds from sparrows to Red Crowned Cranes and also has a red squirrel enclosure - part of a conservation programme and now home to a family of adorable squirrels. Other activities to enjoy at Pensthorpe include pond dipping and Landrover discovery tours. Pensthorpe also played host to BBC'S Springwatch in 2010.
Melsop Farm Park - NR20 3DT
about 27 Miles
We love this attraction in Scoulton, Norfolk with a great collection of animals.  Children and adults alike have the chance to get hands on with the animals in the special handling areas.  On rainy days there is always the indoor play area for the little ones and when it's time for a bite to eat the cafe on the farm is open all day selling drinks and snacks.  Hot food is available over lunch times.
