Fab hol for 7 of us, at the mews house in Smallburgh. Middle of the countryside, clean tidy place with bedrooms set out in a long corridor, almost hotel like which was very useful. Private use of a small indoor pool, with changing and shower room was very good, text owner night before for a slot and its all good. Private jacuzzi in the garden. Snoo ker room was used one night. We didnt play tennis but there are tennis courts. Recommendations to eat out and all instructions available.
Rachel
This is a lovely property in a beautiful setting . The facilities kept our grandchildren fully occupied despite the wet weather . They enjoyed the swimming pool, the snooker, playing tennis and the lovely hot tub. The owners were very helpful.
Lisa
We had a really relaxing stay here as a family. The property is beautiful and clean with great facilities. We would definitely recommend.
David
Brilliant location, quiet secluded great as a kick off location for excursions or as just a quiet get away from all the noise of life.
Tony
Lovely cottage - bedrooms, kitchen and equipment in the cottage and on-site was excellent. A car is necessary to get around because once we had exited the drive to the property there was a busy road which we didn't feel safe walking along and there were no amenities in a walking distance.
Tatyana
Fantastic property well laid out and equipped. Comfortable, clean modern. Friendly owners always there to help. Welcome pack is nice touch. Swimming pool, tennis court and games room are well maintained. Perfect for a family reunion. Spacious enough for 10 people
Brian

Spent a fabulous week in beautiful surroundings. House big enough to house 3 generations. Cracking facilities- made full use of pool, tennis courts and snooker room. Sea Palling beach within 15 mins drive. Susan (owner - far enough away to not be intrusive) really helpful and accommodating. Will definitely return
Merrill
A superb cottage in a beautiful setting, offering really flexible accommodation for our 3 families. The outside space is a real bonus and wonderfully maintained and the location is perfect to get to so many places easily including some amazing places to eat. The pool and hot tub were big favourites! The owners Susan and Gary are wonderful hosts and provided some great local information. We felt at home so quickly and had a very memorable holiday, thank you!

Fantastic property in wonderful grounds. We were a 3 generation family and there is plenty of space for the children to play indoors and outdoors. The added bonus of the swimming pool and tennis courts were great ( we used both each day). There are also some beautiful places to visit locally. Susan the owner was very good and also checking each day if we wanted the pool the next day. Really comfy beds and property in a peaceful location. Supermarket delivery was also no problem.

Found a special day out near your cottage? Please let us know and we'll add it so that other visitors can enjoy it too!
Bewilderwood - NR12 8JW
about 3 Miles
Bewilderwood is a fun day out for the whole family located in the Wroxham area of Norfolk.  This imaginative adventure park has won awards and we think kids especially will love the characters and the magical tree houses. You can even book your ticket online and beat the queues by visiting their website where you can also view video clips of the park. This place is also the setting for the book 'A Boggle at BeWILDerwood', by local children's author Tom Blofeld.  Parents are not left out either as you're encouraged to take part and play alongside your children.
Dinosaur Adventure Park - NR9 5JW
about 13 Miles
This fun family day out has been well planned and we think is certainly worth a visit.  New for 2010 is the PrimEvil at Dinosaur Adventure.  Other fun activities include the Dinosaur Trail, Arachnophobia, the Raptor Races and the adventure play area.  The secret animal garden is also popular.  You can play a role in wildlife conservation and sponsor an animal if you wish.  At the moment if you sign up for their newsletter there is a chance to win a family ticket.
Sheringham Park - NR26 8TL
about 15 Miles
The National Trust Sheringham Park in Norfolk was designed by Humphry Repton and the book of original designs can still be seen. The park has many attractions including a viewing tower and a gazebo with amazing coastal views, wildlife trails which young children will love and an exhibition barn where visitors can learn the history of the park.
Pleasurewood Hills Theme Park - NR32 4TZ
about 21 Miles
Pleasurewood Hills Theme Park is an amazing 50 acres area of stunning coastal parkland and is packed with family friendly rides and attractions. This park is an excellent choice for families with children of varied ages as there are a number of small rides for the little ones as well as some adrenaline boosting white knuckle rides for teenagers. As well as rides the site hosts some fantastic shows including the ever popular Sea Lion and Parrot encounters. At Halloween, Christmas and Easter other themed shows can also be enjoyed.  The site also has a good range of places to eat and drink whether you are looking to spend a leisurely hour relaxing with a meal or just grab a quick snack.
Bishops Boats Seal Trips - NR23 1RY
about 22 Miles
This is a really unique attraction running daily seal watching trips from the middle of March right through to the end of October.  The experienced skippers will lead you out on one of the traditional wooden boats where you will have the chance to see both common and grey seals.  If you love animals then this is one attraction not to be missed! They also do some boat trips combined with guides on dry land such as seal watching combined with a visit to Blakeney Point Nature Reserve, owned by the National Trust.  We think this attraction is excellent value for money as they keep their admission prices low.
Pensthorpe Nature Reserve & Gardens - NR21 0LN
about 23 Miles
if you and your family are interested in nature and wildlife then Pensthorpe Nature Reserve & Gardens is the perfect place for a day out. This beautiful area of national parkland is home to a huge range of common and rare birds from sparrows to Red Crowned Cranes and also has a red squirrel enclosure - part of a conservation programme and now home to a family of adorable squirrels. Other activities to enjoy at Pensthorpe include pond dipping and Landrover discovery tours. Pensthorpe also played host to BBC'S Springwatch in 2010.
Africa Alive - NR33 7TF
about 25 Miles
Africa Alive is one of Suffolk's largest attractions and one of the most popular in the whole of the UK.  The Africa themed park is very unique and gives visitors the chance to see some amazing creatures in a habitat which is as close to nature as possible. The park can be explored by car and on foot and Hyenas and Giraffes are just some of the animals you will encounter as you make your way around the park. Watch out for the lightning fast Cheetahs and keep your eyes peeled to spot the more reclusive creatures. During a day at Africa Alive there will be plenty of shows and educational talks taking place and if the weather turns then the indoor Adventure Play Ground comes in very handy. The site also has a well stocked Gift Shop and a Discovery Centre.
Melsop Farm Park - NR20 3DT
about 25 Miles
We love this attraction in Scoulton, Norfolk with a great collection of animals.  Children and adults alike have the chance to get hands on with the animals in the special handling areas.  On rainy days there is always the indoor play area for the little ones and when it's time for a bite to eat the cafe on the farm is open all day selling drinks and snacks.  Hot food is available over lunch times.
Banham Zoo - NR16 2HE
about 27 Miles
This award winning wildlife attraction has much to offer both families and couples looking for a fun and educational day out.  You can discover a whole wild world of animals with over 1000 different animals from around the world. You will probably want to try and spend the whole day here so you don's miss out on anything.  Highlights include the amazing animals presentation, the birds of prey display and the feeding talks, all of which take place at set times of the day.  This attraction is fantastic value for money and highly recommended.  Their latest event is the Snow Leopard Club Naming Auction and there has recently been a baby giraffe born at the zoo.
