Poplar Farm Studio Reviews

Charlotte
Lovely house with lots of space for everyone. The hot tub was amazing as was the balcony with its lovely view! Providing towels for the hot tub was also a great bonus! Location is perfect a close drive to Chester zoo, Cheshire oaks, blue planet aquarium etc The park and ride was less than a 10 min drive away to get into Chester which was also great. The owners were lovely when we messaged about a query about the travel cot and they answered straight away. We were initially worried about the business on site as we stayed Monday to Friday there was a little bit of noise every so often but it was not enough to bother us. The only recommendation would be to have another arm chair in the downstairs lounge as someone always had to sit on the dining room chair which wasnt comfortable for longer periods. As a family we all enjoyed our stay and would recommend this house to others and would book again!
We had a lovely stay, thanks for having us.

Really great property, lovely and clean with great facilities. Thank you
Very nice and well maintained cottage. The rooms had very impressive size. The location was OK, closed to Chester. The few issue was that, the upper larger bedroom 2 single bed was a bit less comfy, and the towels were a bit smaller size. Everything else were
Beautiful place with gorgeous furniture. Easy to find. The ad says businesses on site i did not expect to be separated from them by standard internal doors the downstairs one has a window and i could see people standing there chatting the dog went mad. I could hear every word they were saying, as well as upstairs. So we also felt we had to speak quietly so as not to disturb them. 8 am noise from them did not allow for a quiet lay in. Offices in the building in the adjoining rooms would be more accurate. Main back door key very difficult to use especially locking from the outside. Both bathrooms downstairs is a bit of a mission re mobility issues. I didnt see this very important fact in the ad either. I thought, from the photos that the large grass area was part of the rented property i chose this property with this in mind for the dog, so was disappointed with the small fake grass area. Ad says garden with lawn not small area with fake grass. I would not have booked if i had known this.
A lovely property in an ideal location for Chester and surroundings. The hot tub was a bonus and the cottage was lovely. Will definitely return at some point with friends.

We had a lovely weekend at Poplar Farm Studio. It is well equipped with everything you could need. We loved sitting on the balcony and looking at the view. The outdoor seating area was covered so could be enjoyed whatever the weather. The hot tub was an extra bonus. Thank you very much. We will definitely be back.

Had a lovely stay, extremely well equipted very clean and tidy. Arrived to find a bottle of prosecco and some biscuits, which was much appreciated. Hot tub was lovely too. Would defo recommend.
Andrew
Brilliant house, with loads of space and excellent facilities. Many thanks for having us, would happily return.
The property is situated in a lovely remote setting, but only a short drive from Chester city centre. Kids loved the hottub and super fast fibre broadband. Very comfy accommodation with all the essentials.
The grounds are lovely but its not private at all, there is a business next door which you can hear people going in and out of the building from 94 which made the dogs bark non stop so it wasnt relaxing at all. Then we had a man come to wash people cars who parked right outside the barn and was there for around 45 hours washing different cars so we couldnt even use the hot tub as we felt like we were being watched. There were spiders in LITERALLY every single room not just one or two either!! We left earlier than our stay too as it just wasnt comfortable at all.
