Owls Meadow Reviews

The only thing I would say is to put back up the voils at the bedroom window main door and little window near the telly it gives your more privacy especially when eating at the table and coming out of the bathroom. Also bedroom curtains could do with linings in them you get the brightness from the outside restaurant lights at night time
Great 3 nights stay at the Owls, very comfortable fantastic Hot Tub the wearther was warm and sunny, the only downside was the farmer spreading manure on the fields on the first day we arrived the smell was very strong and unpleasant that's what you get in the country side. I'll definitely be going back there very soon.
Beautiful property in a great location . Everything you need in the lodge, very good facilities. There is a restaurant on site which is extremely good . The walks on the park are beautiful nice and easy strolls . The added bonus of a hot tub too , great idea . A nice touch was the bottle of wine in the fridge ! Will definitely be going back again .

Brilliant!! Location, friendly, peaceful, just fantastic
Lovely accommodation, not much to do in the local area, with limited places to eat if you didnt want to cook. Bar and restaurant closed on the second day with no notices displayed, food and bar was lovely when open though and staff were great. Told on the first day the tap in the kitchen was loose and a plumber would be round on the second day, never turned up for the duration of our stay. Hot tub was not very private. If you want a self catering, relaxing stay on site for a few days, then would be perfect. Shower was amazing.
Lisa and Jonathan very helpful and friendly. Accommodation was lovely had everything we needed and more. New Years Eve do was amazing we had the best time. Food, entertainment and staff second to none. Highly recommend and would love to stay again.

What a fab holiday we had at Owls Meadow. From arriving to a warm, friendly welcome and leaving a week later feeling totally relaxed and wanting to stay longer. The accommodation was fabulous. Modern, clean and welcoming a true home from home. Small things like hot tub towels, washing up liquid, tea towels etc. make a big difference when packing for a holiday. Set in a beautiful park with lovely walks, friendly, cheerful staff and fabulous coffee and cake at Arthurs. So much to see and do in the area we didnt have enough time for all we liked. We cant wait to book again next year and are already looking forward to trying out the new swimming pool and spa complex
Patricia
Absolutely pristine every little thought had been put into this place so beautiful we will definitely be back
Joanne
Fantastic ! ! We had a wonderful stay at Owl Lodge. Lots of little extras that were really good hot tub towels, handwash, washing up liquid and other cleaning products, ice blocks in freezer, handheld hoover, citronella candles to help with bugs. The lodge was very comfortable, very quiet environment, beautifully set in many acres of land providing lovely walks on site. Arthurs restaurant on site serves a fabulous Sunday Lunch, also great weekly menu, also stonebaked pizza is served at weekends from the little hut outside. Jonathan and his team were amazing, welcoming, helpful, friendly, nothing was too much trouble. The park is fairly new and has ongoing work to provide a spa, swimming pool and outdoor activities. It will be fabulous!! Would definitely recommend this property and we will definitely return.
Thankyou Clive another great stay. Thanks Clive for your info on fishing we had a great time. My only problem was when we was in hot tub no where to put a drink or hang towels up. Could do with a over hanging shelf on the panels and a couple of hooks to towels. Apart from that had amazing time. Thanks again Clive and also.lisa x
Excellent facilities and location. The lodge is user friendly, loved the hot tub and breakfast on the patio. Beds lovely and comfortable and the on suite and family bathrooms so convenient. Cooking facilities brilliant with a full size gas cooker along with a microwave. Excellent WiFi signal. The Arthurs restaurant provides 5star food at reasonable prices, loved Sunday lunch fantastic and only a stones thrown away.. In all very relaxing.
Well appointed lodge in a beautiful park setting with stunning open country views all around . Comfortable bed & furnishings All all home comforts and more. Highly recommended
Excellent site which is bearing fruits for investing in quality and not quantity. Pools need to be bigger for carp anglers but will be fine for matchmen once stocked and pegged. Make prices available for want to be owners on van fees, site fees etc. Can't wait to go back, thanks Jonathon.
What a fantastic lodge, a little gem, the lodge was very comfortable and clean, the hot tub a bonus, would return. Arthurs Restaurant was something special, high end quality food at reasonable prices along with lovely deco. The site was exceptionally clean with lovely walks. The owners Jonathan and Lisa were very accommodating and gave us a warm reception. Would definitely go back
Beautiful lodge in stunning location. We loved the restaurant and the staff were lovely. Hot tub was amazing. Will definitely return.
I had a fabulous time with my son and my 2 granddaughters to celebrate my birthday. We stayed in The Owl Lodge which had a hot tub which my granddaughters loved. There was plenty of area for them to play.We had dinner on Saturday night and lunch on Sunday. The meals were fabulous and we all thoroughly enjoyed and all the staff were excellent.Special thank you for Lisa and Jonathan owners which made us so welcome and made the weekend a very special one for me.I would sincerely recommend for anybody to stay there.
The Lodge was lovely , it was well laid out and the way it was decorated made it feel very homely. It had wonderful views of the countryside in all directions. So all in all it made for.a excellent stay. Highly recommended
The ownershosts were very welcoming and made us feel at home. The facilities on site restaraunt and bar were second to non. The food was fantastic and in a lovely setting. The caravan is clean, very well presented and comfortable
This place is a little peace of heaven its beautiful
Heather
The property & site are in a beautiful location. The lodge was gorgeous, all of the interior was new, stylish and cosy. The staff were really helpful and friendly. The only feedback I can give and this is being picky is that it would have been useful to have a user manual for the boiler & oven but we figured both out in the end!
The site was quite good but it wasn't for us as it was on a corner by the entrance and the site is work in progress so all vehicles had to pass the lodge there was also a noisy generator about 40 metres away which run 24 7. The restaurant was OK but small portions and over priced
Michael
Delightful location and accommodation we thoroughly enjoyed our stay. The lodge is comfortable and beautifully presented. The hot tub was a lovely bonus. Hosts are welcoming and helpful. Restaurant is delicious!
The Lodge had everything that we needed and the surroundings were peaceful and scenic. The owners were very helpful and did everything to make our stay enjoyable.
Extremely happy. Although you could do with updating the picture to show where the hot tub is, some people may wonder where about it is. And also kitchen could do with a measureing jug. All in all a fantastic time and beautiful place
Judith
We really enjoyed our stay at Owl s cottege. The cottege was very comfortable and clean. The owner is very friendly and helpful. The hot tub was a real pleasure. Hope to come again.
