Overall cleanliness was good, some things were overlooked but generally clean. There was no iron or ironing board but everything else is provided including towels. Robes felt damp so didnt use them. We stayed at The Studio for a short break and from the moment we arrived up until we left we had a lovely break .The studio has all you need and was like home from home , the owners have thought about all the simple touches that make you feel welcome, they also allowed us to take our two dogs which was great as there are plenty of places that are d og friendly as well as plenty of walks and the dogs settled in straight away .We would definitely recommend staying at The Studio .

Some of the amazing animals you will get to see include the only Canadian Lynx in the UK and you will have the opportunity to help their Lynx Conservation Project. The home of William Wordsworth from 1813 - 1850 the grand home is now lived in by the poets descendents but parts of the house and grounds are open to the public. Why not take a guided tour and see the rooms where many of the famous poems were written. The gardens are beautiful at all times of the year but in the summer offer a spectacular display of colour.
