Crossett Grange is a stunning, three-storey house situated in the heart of Driffield, East Riding of Yorkshire. Perfect for families or groups of friends, this family-friendly retreat offers ample off-road parking for up to 10 cars, ensuring a convenient and pleasant stay for all guests.

Upon entering the property, you will be greeted by a spacious open-plan living area, complete with a contemporary electric range oven and hob, microwave, fridge/freezer, and dishwasher. The sitting space boasts a Smart TV and soundbar with Bluetooth, perfect for entertaining the group, while the woodburning stove adds a warm touch.

The dining area comfortably seats ten people, with an additional breakfast bar for three, making it the ideal space for enjoying meals together. For quieter moments, retreat to the separate sitting room, equipped with another Smart TV and an electric fire, providing a snug atmosphere for those chillier evenings.

The utility room houses a washing machine, adding a practical touch to your stay. The property boasts six well-presented bedrooms spread over three floors.

On the ground floor, you will find a double, with a further three double bedrooms on the first-floor, two of which benefit from en-suite facilities with walk-in showers, basins, and WCs, with one also featuring a heated towel rail and a TV. A further twin bedroom can also be found on this floor.

The second floor hosts a double bedroom with an en-suite, complete with a walk-in shower, basin, and WC. A family bathroom with a bath, shower over, basin, and WC, as well as a ground-floor wet room with a walk-in shower, basin, and WC, serve the remaining bedrooms, ensuring there is plenty of space for everyone to prepare for their day.

Outside, the enclosed garden offers a lawn, gravelled area, and patio, complete with furniture for alfresco dining. The hot tub is the cherry on top, providing the perfect spot to unwind after a day of exploring the local area.

The Deep is also home to the world's largest exhibition, featuring weird animals from the depths combined with slime! Educational talks and events take place daily so visitors can learn about the conservation projects which the centre is involved in. There is also a fantastic restaurant over looking some of the displays and a souvenir shop. Family tickets are priced at just £32.00.

Situated in Malton in North Yorkshire this has to be one of our favourite family days out. It's a theme park and zoo all in one stretching over a massive 400 acres. With thrilling rides for the very daring like Cliff Hanger, Corkscrew and Kumali, there are also more gentle rides for the little ones such as Frog Hopper and Helitoys. Family fun attractions include the 4D cinema, the lost river ride and the Little Monsters Den of Mischief. Check out their website for seasonal events which take place throughout the year and you can also gain more information about the zoo. Flamingo Land is a resort as well as a theme park so you can also book accommodation there.

Peasholm Park - YO12 6QQ

This attraction is ideal for sunny days as the beautiful park is ideal for wandering out and taking in the scenery. You can hire boats including rowing boats and canoes to enjoy the views from the water. The pedalos with the dragon heads are always a popular choice too. Look out for special events including the Battle of Peasholm Park Naval Battle which has been described as a "must see". You can also take a ride on the North Bay Railway which will delight children.

If you are enjoying a lodge break in the Yorkshire Moors and Coast then a day trip to the Scarborough Sea Life and Marine Sanctuary highly recommended. This centre is one of the regions most popular attractions and is educational as well as fun. Visitors will enjoy a journey beneath the waves, meeting many strange, beautiful and fascinating creatures of the deep. As well as mighty sharks and beautiful rays guests can get up close to some more common creatures including star fish and can also meet the otters, seals and penguins at feeding time. The site also has children's play area and picnic tables as well as a restaurant and souvenir shop. Family tickets cost £46.80 but the Tourist Information Centres in Scarborough, Whitby or Filey often offer fantastic discounts.

Sea Life Marine Sanctuary - YO12 6RP

Located in the Scalby Mills area of Scarborough this makes a fun family day out for those who are interested in marine life. The fantastic ocean tank is well worth seeing - it's been transformed into a Turtle Reef and you can see an amazing array of colourful reef fish and coral. You may also catch a glimpse of the tropical sharks and turtles. Offering good value for money this is a day out with a difference and an all weather attraction.

There are 6 nature walks in total surrounding the farm so walkers and lovers of the outdoors will be in their element. Some of our favourite walks include the Spring Flowers, Pond and Village walk which takes around 35 minutes, and the Meadow and Trees walk which takes one hour.

There is also a pond with fish and a sensory zone where children can touch and feel new and interesting things.
