Emma
Really enjoyed our stay! The cottage was cosy and warm, with lots of hot water. The peaceful location was perfect for walks. A minor issue with the washing machine was quickly sorted out by the owners.
James
This cottage really exceeded our expectations! Beautifully decorated and well-equipped, it offers a peaceful retreat in a lovely spot. Perfect for a quiet getaway, we’d definitely recommend Underbaugh Cottage to anyone seeking quality and relaxation.
Laura
We really enjoyed our stay at this charming cottage. It’s super pretty and feels really cosy, perfect for relaxing. The little garden by the stream is lovely - great for unwinding with a drink. The upstairs bedroom is bright and airy, while the ground floor rooms are a bit darker, but the lamps help out. We loved the walks straight from the door and found a friendly pub in Stainforth nearby. All in all, a lovely spot with lots of character. We’d definitely come back!
Emma

We honestly had a wonderful time at Underbargh Cottage. The location is spot on, close enough to Settle town and not far from the Lake District, which is perfect for day trips. The log burner added a cosy touchand the bed was seriously the most comfortable we’ve ever slept in! The kitchen and bathroom were lovelyand the owner was super helpful whenever we had questions. We’re definitely planning to come back!
Emma
We had a lovely stay at this cosy little cottage! It’s beautifully decorated, with some really nice artwork that added charm. The bed was super comfy, perfect after long days exploring. The place was clean overall, though we felt it could do with a bit more attention to tidiness in some spots. The biggest hassle was the central heating - the stat was lockedand it took ages to get the owner to give us the code. That was pretty frustrating, honestly. Still, despite that, we enjoyed our holiday quite a lot!
Emma
The cottage was so cosy and well decorated, nestled in a peaceful village. Waking up to the stream’s gentle babble through the patio doors was just lovely. We had an amazing week in the Dales!
Emma
Absolutely loved our stay here! The cottage was cosy and super comfy. We enjoyed fantastic walks through stunning countryside, especially the rivers and waterfalls. Settle’s just 2 miles away and has everything you need - so friendly too!
Mark

Honestly, we wondered why we hadn’t explored Yorkshire Dales sooner! We booked last minute after our Scotland trip got cancelledand it turned out to be a cracking choice. The cottage was stunning-really Laura Ashley vibe, with everything you'd need for a relaxing week. The kitchen was fully stockedand the bed was super comfy-probably the best sleep we’ve had on holiday, almost like being at home (maybe better!). The shower was top-notchand the peaceful garden was perfect for unwinding. Hope we get to come back someday. The weather was a bonus-dry and warm, can’t complain!
Emma
Loved the peaceful vibe here! Great spot for walking and unwinding. Only a quick drive to Settle for supplies. Definitely recommend this cosy cottage for a relaxing break.

Located in the Milnthorpe area of Cumbria we love this local attraction.  With an eclectic mix of fascinating wildlife and hands on displays this centre is educational as well as fun.  You can wander around at leisure admiring the exhibits which range from chameleons to computers. Some of the most threatened species are kept at the park as part if international breeding programmes.  Check out their website for the latest opening times and admission costs which are great value for money.  There are discounts for pre-booked parties of 12 or more.
Happy Mount Park - LA4 5AQ

Happy Mount Park has attractions for the whole family including several play areas, a miniature railway, crazy golf, putting green and trampolines, there is also a paddling pool where the little ones can splash around in the summer and a café where the adults can relax with a drink. During the summer months and especially during school holidays live music can often be enjoyed.
Fountains Abbey - HG4 3DY

This is an outstanding world heritage site located close to Ripon in the North Yorkshire area. Nature lovers will be in their element with an abundance of wide open spaces to explore and there are special guided tours for families.  Some of the highlights may include seeing wild deer and bats during your visit.  The grounds are fantastic to wander round but there is also an Elizabethan Mansion, Victorian Church, Georgian Water Garden and the finest example of Cistercian Abbey ruins in the country - Well worth a visit!
Lightwater Valley - HG4 3HT
about 29 Miles
Situated in the Ripon area of North Yorkshire this popular theme park makes a fantastic day out for the whole family.  The more daring will love the big and thrilling rides such as Raptor Attack, The Ultimate and Trauma Tower.  For the little ones there are some excellent attractions such as Flying Camels, Dodgems and a Magic Wheel.  Toddlers will like the Dragon Boats and the Lightwater Express amongst other things. There are over 40 rides and attractions in total and we think this is excellent value for money too.  If you book your tickets in advance online you can save even more money and beat the queues.
