We would definitely recommend this cottage, although maybe we shouldnt as we may not be able to book it again!

A beautiful holiday cottage in a stunning location. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and would certainly stay again. Its in an ideal location, and just a short drive to lots of lovely walking locations. The property was spotless and we were very comfortable.

The property was absolutely lovely and no detail left unturned. We felt immediately at home and were only sorry to have to have left early. Beautifully appointed and private, quiet and with lovely views. Great for the dog too p, safe enclosed garden and cosy; generous wood for the log burner and a gorgeous welcome pack. Very special place to stay. Extremely clean and well presented. Comfy bed and nice decent size sofa. Would highly recommend, but then I dont think they would have any vacancies!! Very peaceful location and wonderful that the owners are close by.

Birdsong Barn is absolutely gorgeous. We had such an amazing week there over Christmas! The owners were so kind, and the barn is so well equipped meaning it was a true home from home. We also couldn't believe how many lovely walks there were nearby - Morte Point and Heddon Valley to name a couple! We were also only 30 minutes away from Woolacombe, which is home to a beautiful, long stretch of sandy beach. 10/10 - we'd love to return to this beautiful location again!

Amazing!! By far the best place we have stayed and we have holidayed in North Devon for over twenty years!! Facilities are fab, comfy and everything you want is to hand. Gorgeous aesthetic inside and out. The view is amazing and the hot tub just tops it off!! Highly recommend and will definitely return!

During a stroll around the site you will encounter so of the worlds most endangered animals and also take a peek back to prehistoric times when Dinosaurs roamed the earth. The park is home to the worlds only full size animatronic Tyrannosaurus Rex as well as Lions, Wolves, Sea Lions, Meerkats and many other species, Top attractions include the amazing Sea Lion Shows, Falconry Display and Sea Lion Swims.

Exmoor Zoo is described as a "family zoo" on their website and it certainly makes a great day out for families.  There are many exotic and rare animals as well as birds to see which are living in natural surroundings.  Some recent improvements at the zoo include a new 5 metre tower at the cheetahs and raised walkways at the "beast".  There is also a new viewing platform over the sitatunga.  As well as the amazing animals to experience there are regular fun activities such as face painting, daily events and zoo trails.
