Coombe Rise is a beautiful spacious house, the well kept mature gardens are lovely to wander around. The kitchen is a joy to cook in and the bedrooms and lounges are restful, most with countryside views. We made use of the hot tub as well as the table football and table tennis and went on some lovely walks. We would highly recommend Coombe Rise as Read morea retreat for a a large group. Hide

The cottage is very spacious, well decorated and perfectly maintained. All the areas are well furnished and well thought out. The addition of a large garden and hot tub were fabulous. All our contact with the owners was excellent and they were extremely helpful.

This is an outstanding property with everything you could possibly need for a week or two away with the family. The large kitchen is very well equipped and all rooms are kept very clean. We had a fabulous time at Coombe Rise! There was masses of space for the children and adults to relax both in the house and in the beautiful garden. We loved the kitchen which was perfect for preparing meals and eating. The owners were extremely friendly and helpful and immediately responded to our queries. The location of the house is perfect for the village pub which serves excellent food, for accessing fantastic nearby beaches, and for visiting special places of interest including Tintagel.

Excellent property that was exactly as described and fully met our requirements. The quality probably exceeded our expectations. The local pub which is only a 2 minute walk away is excellent and clearly very popular. We were glad we made provisional reservations in advance of our stay.

We were really impressed with the standard of the property and its various appliances. The owners kindly provided us with a paddling pool for the youngest member of our party. The property is slightly out of town, which adds to the feeling of relaxation. There is plenty of parking.

An excellent holiday home with all that your family could need and in a great location. Coombe Rise has the most comfortable beds! The hosts are incredibly kind and supportive. We had a lovey welcome from the Preston Gate Inn and great food (just along the road) We will definitely return.

This property is fantastic- it is brilliantly well appointed with every detail thought of. It was hard to leave the house as it was so comfortable. However theres great local pub less than a minute up the road and the beach at Bude is manageable walk away (or short drive). We had a fantastic time here for my Dads 70th.

Lovely home with all the facilities you could need. The Neff coffee machine was a real highlight! The house was clean and beautifully maintained. Beds were extremely comfortable and the whole house had a calm and spacious feel. Kate the owner was extremely friendly and happy to answer any questions. Would definitely stay here again.
