I feel that there are 2 bits of important information missing from the description that would help people make an informed decision on making their choice to stay or not. One of which meant we had to cut our holiday short and that is there are sheep in the paddock. Luckily we don't have dogs that bark but it did mean they had to stay in as they were getting stressed and trying to jump the fence. The second thing missing is there are 2 steps to the bathroom luckily the disabled member of our party managed to get up and down with some help but it could have been a lot worst for somebody. These things may be down to Sykes and the way they lay things out but they should be mentioned.

Excellent property with stunning views. Lovely for local coastal walks on your doorstep. The paddock was an added bonus for our furry friend who loves to run. Short drive to numerous locations. Owners were very helpful and easy to contact if needed. Wood fired hot tub with a view was a hit for the hubby. Would definitely stay again
Dominic
Beautiful secluded location, overlooking the ocean. Great views and wonderful sunsets. Well equipped and comfortable property, with all we needed. On site parking and secure garden, a big plus for our dog. Hot tub and garden furniture a bonus. Great field next door for walks and viewing the coast line, enhanced by the viewing platform built by the owner. We had a fabulous week, even the weather was good. A great base to explore Cornwall. Thank you to Steve and family for sharing their property. We hope to be back very soon. Be sure to use the owners instructions for finding the property. Very helpful.
The chalet was well equipped and comfortable. It was secluded and had beautiful views. Steve was really helpful and came out to add some extra panelling to the garden gate to make it more secure for the dogs. Sykes have been really good to deal with. All very straightforward.
We loved our stay at Lundy View! What a gorgeous place to stay and explore Cornwall. The views are unbelievable and enjoyed sitting out every night to watch the sunset. Thank you to Steve, who was just a text or phone call away if we needed anything. Thank you for an unforgettable family holiday. We would return in a heartbeat.
Beautiful location, amazing views and hot tub. Great, helpful host. Will definitely go back

We will be staying again! The hosts were friendly and helpful. The property was spotless, hot tub was fantastic and the views were breathtaking! On an overcast day the view of Lundy island is crystal clear! A cosy hub for visiting areas of interest, our favourites being Bude, Boscastle and Tintagel. The enclosed area was perfect for our two small dogs, and the field directly outside of the enclosed area was accessible with a viewing point at the bottom overlooking the sea.
Property was chosen for the location and views. The chalet was very clean and comfy and had everything you needed for the stay. Extremely quiet. Our dog particularly appreciated the enclosed paddock for some safe running around. Only the weather was against us but on our last day we did get to see Lundy! The owner, Steve, did text on a particularly windy night to see if we were ok. He was very helpful and we would definitely stay again.

Battery in smoke alarms needs changing. Also a light by hot tub steps would be handy and a hose to top the hot tub up.amaizing place thank you for a lovely holiday.

The chalet is in a lovely area with stunning views, the area surrounding it and the main town were also lovely. We were lucky enough to have some sheep in the field in front! Although the weather wasnt on our side that didnt stop us from getting in the hot tub. The chalet is situated perfectly and you get some incredible views on a clear day both from inside the chalet itself and in the hot tub.
Barbara
Lovely cottage with fantastic views. Everything we needed for a comfortable stay.
Lundy cottage is a lovely place for a quiet holiday with dogs, the garden is fine for dogs but there is a paddock as well which is great for an extra runaround. The owner is great sends his number in case of problems which we had with the electric he came straight over late at night to help not a problem with the cottage but with the main grid after a storm. I would advise using the owners directions to Lundy cottage not Sykes .
Tracey
Lovely peaceful and clean chalet. Great location. Hot tub lovely. Very friendly and helpful owner. Will come back.
Beautiful little holiday home with a glorious view to wake up to every morning. The sunset every evening didn't disappoint. The children had plenty of space to run around and fly a kite in the field next to the chalet.
Lundy View chalet is a real gem. The location is perfect for a peaceful break with outstanding sea views from every window. Coastal walks at the end of the field leads to a lovely beach or a short drive if the steep climb up isnt your thing! Many beautiful places a short drive away with great food options and lovely Cornish coastal villages worth a visit. All in all a great base for exploring, that is if you want to leave the wonderful garden and perfectly placed hot tub looking over the sea. Breathtaking! Very clean and well kept accommodation, great attention to detail, perfect for a couple or family. Our dog loved a run around the field each day and Steve the owner has built a fantastic viewing platform at the bottom of the field overlooking the sea. 1010
Amazing and beautiful property. Only one neighbour, better than any holiday park. Perfect for a private peaceful holiday away from everyone. Everything you could need or want is provided. Definitely going to book again if available. Beautiful views and beach that takes less than 3 minutes drive to get to. Lovely friendly owner.
